Like most of you, I had tons of Legos when I was a kid and would build for hours. With most of my creations I could have cared less if the buildings matched, using every color brick to create a house or vehicle. My parents would only every buy me small sets and I rarely got any set over $50. So I never got the satisfaction of building the pirate ships or cities.
After stumbling upon lego.com the early part of 07, I noticed that a lot has changed in the lego world with more elaborate sets. I briefly caught the lego bug and bought a few large sets (since I never had them as a child) then after a few weeks, packed up the bricks and back in the basement they went. Then in early 08 I discovered the modular buildings and I totally was hooked again. Building for me is relaxing and a stress reliever and gets my head out of "work" mode. I'm working on building up my collection so I can do detailed building like a lot of you do, so keep checking back to see how my building evolves.
Thanks for viewing my LEGO creations!
