I'm a TFOL from the U.S., and I've been playing with LegoŽ for pretty much as long as I can remember. My first real building experience, however, was for the LegoŽ Lord of the Rings contest over on Lego.com about two years ago. After the contest was over, I continued building and branched out into genres other than castle. In December 2013, I joined MOCpages so I could compete in the 2013-14 Middle Earth MocOlympics. However, my entry (which I now see isn't very good) didn't get me past the first round. But it was enough to get me hooked on MOCpages. After that, there was no going back.
Since then, my skill (and piece collection) have really grown. As a contribution to the LEGO community, I've compiled a lengthy glossary of LEGO-related terms. A more regularly updated version can be found on my blog here.
Recently, I've been suffering from a continual dilemma: I can't decide between the genres of Castle and Science Fiction. One day, I'll see some amazing Castle MOC and think, "That's so cool! I should totally focus on Castle!" The next day, vice versa. My collection is suited better for Si-Fi, but I also really enjoy building Castle! I just can't decide.
Thank you to the 54 people who call me a favorite builder! Are you bold enough to become the 55th?
I am a Christian, and I hope that God will be glorified through my- interactions on MOCpages. I am home-schooled, and have been for my entire education. Several of my non-Lego hobbies are running, soccer, and reading (as well as random parenthetical statements). My favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien, and I enjoy building MOCs inspired by his epic Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I have a blog called
I'd love it if you could check it out!
