Thanks for taking the time to view my LEGO MOCs. I primarily build military aircraft and original-trilogy Star Wars vehicles (Episodes 4, 5, and 6). I always strive for faithful representations along with as much functionality as possible in my models. These include accurate interiors, working landing gear and flight control surfaces, and various other features. When making aircraft I usually try to model every variant that either significantly differs from the original or is historically important. I generally will not simply do "repaints". I do sometimes re-work and replace pictures of my MOCs as I learn new tricks or think of a new way to engineer an old problem, so they tend to get upgraded from time to time. I have also been experimenting with POV-Ray to create digital renders of my MOCs, as well as dioramas showing off my models. As I get more comfortable with the workings of the program I will begin posting all my models in rendered format. As for my chosen format, I build my models with LDD because even though I have a fair amount of LEGOs collected over the course of 30 years, I simply do not have the sheer volume nor the various specialty pieces and colors to create physical versions of most of my MOCs. LDD allows me far greater freedom to explore and refine a model and then hopefully collect the necessary parts to actually build one. Of note, please do not ask for instructions for my models, as I am not releasing them at this time. If you do like my MOCs, please comment and/or rate them accordingly, as this encourages me to create more. If you have suggestions for other models you would like to see me tackle, comment that as well. I am also on Flickr under the name rx79gez8gundam, some of you may have already seen me there.
