Quoting GRAN TURISMO RACER
BY THE WAY 'DIE PORSCHE-VEREIN' TRANSLATES AS 'THE PORSCHE ASSOSIATION'.
Hi, I'm new here and I really like the idea of a group for Porsche models only. But I have to start with a correction of the group name: In German the word Verein (association) is masculinum so it has to be DER VEREIN instead of DIE VEREIN.
And "Verein" is a word that is used for assosiations of topics like sport, gardening or charity. Owners of cars of a certain producer use to get organized in a "Club". A "Verein" has to follow certain rules in Germany so it's easier to establish a "Club" than a "Verein". So "The Porsche Association" would most probably be called "Der Porsche-Club" or if you want to give it a German touch "Der Porsche-Klub".
