Wouldn't it be heresy to kill fellow humans? If they can be swayed to the path of the God-Emperor, then that's even better. Covenant probably needs a good purge. Xenos and all that, you know.

Actually were only going to war with the filth regarded as the covenant. Spartans are very skilled and extremely hard to kill but a space marine bests them because of organ implants and armor and weapons. I mean the space marines have 75. cal weapons that they carry around like pistols!
