 Group admin
TASK: Put on your happy, sad, or even angry face, because you are about to enter the world of fasion and design reality shows! S.N.O.T.'s second contest is based on interior design. If you've ever wanted to make your house, then heres your chance. Show us what you got when it comes to small items in fig scale and your genious technuiqes.

RULES:
~You may make a whole building, but the main goal is to create a detailed interior.
~You may have as many different interiors as you wish, but they must be set up as one creation.
~Your entries may not be any smaller than 10x10 studs.
~No starwars or space-war type things. This contest is meant for City-like themes. You may do anything from the modern world or back to the Renaissance. Mabey Future City. Just understand what I'm implying.(REAL WORLD!)
~Title your entry whatever you wan't, but make sure to mention the contest and give a link in the description.
~When you post, make sure to let me know here, I can't read minds!(Unlike what some must have thought in the last contest.)
~Have fun!

DUE DATE: All entries must be submitted by June 1st. That's 6-20-09 at 2:00 P.M., Pacific standard time.

PRIZES: Unlike our first contest, this one will have a prize. You will not recieve something phisicle through the mail, but I will have seperate trophies dedicated to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. (LEGO trophies made as one of my mocs.)

POST SCRIPT: If anyone has questions or isn't clear on the rules, then please ask on this pages. Official signups will also be posted here. Now, "Make it work!" (If anyone new what I was implying there, then congrats, you must watch too much TV also.)

I understand the whole thing against space combat / Starwars / etc., But you said that futuristic is fine. How futuristic? Just near future, or sci-fi civilian in general?

This oughtta be fun, I've been needing to do something non-military for a change.

Yeah, just like civil sci-fi. I really just mean near future, like 20-50 years. I'm still saying that it's something from our "REAL" world.

I'm not big on entering contests, but I like the idea behind this one. If you need a panel of judges, I'd definitely do that. I could be the mean one that makes everyone cry.

Yeah. I was just about to ask the group moderators(including you) if they would like to judge or enter. If you wish to consult with me when it comes to judging, then I'm perfectly fine with that, plus we'll probably recieve a better result.

If you wan't to be a judge, then you can't enter. If you wan't to enter, then you can't be a judge. Sorry, but I'd like to keep it that way.

I have way too much going on to be able to enter. But like Shannon, I'd be available to judge if you'd like. I'll be the Randy Jackson rip off dawg. (funny side note. I started something like this (build your house) in one of my other groups but it never really took off. Hope yours fares better than mine did.) ~ Chris.

Woah, you reply fast! Are you like staring at that computer all day waiting for someone to ask you for something! Anyway, I'll let you judge, I understand that you must be way too busy right now. I wasn't thinking to much. I was just focused on spreading propoganda for the contest. So if you wan't to judge, then I'll put up a list for our panel of judges.

Unless our glorious leader wants to override me, I think you should be allowed multiple entries. If for no other reason than we're coming down to the wire here and we only have three entries so far!

Strangely enough, I ended up making a modern-day interior: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/124878. I stand by my decision to judge, so I'm not entering it. But I did use it to put out a call for more entries, as long as the deadline has been extended. Hopefully a few people will answer the call!

Just in time! Okay, gang. I have my entry ready. It's called "A Day in the Life of a Dad."

http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/127960

I began planning this way back when Sterling started thinking about an interior contest. I got sidetracked by another project, then I put on the afterburners when the deadline was extended. Whoo-hoo! I'm so happy to have made the deadline.

Okay, sorry for the over-extension everybody. I was waiting to see if there were any more takers. Judging will start very soon now. I just need to get ShannO and Chrips out of there little building holes and we can madly debate about the winners. So everyone just hold tight. I've also started making the statues in honer of the winners.

So how do you want to work this, Boss? We who are judging put our picks in this thread and then you add the totals up, or somehow debate in secret?

My computer's been acting up (but it seems to have fixed itself, at least for today) and I just started a new job, so that's why I've been absentee a lot lately, and Chris has been on a Brickworld high so he might need a reminder tomorrow after it's over that he's got a contest to judge.

Hello? Sterling? Hello?...

I don't know what happened to our fearless leader, but somebody still remembers we had a contest to judge once upon a time. In lieu of any official action, here are my votes:

1st: Wes Pitter - "A Day in the Life of a Dad."

2nd: Chas Irish - "My Snotty Crib"

3rd: liam kirwan - "Business lounge"

Nice work everybody.

I'm really sorry. We're moving and I just never found the time. I'm not even sure if I'll still be able to make that goodbye moc I was planning. To add to it, for the next three to four months I won't have access to any of my pieces. Again, I'm sorry to everyone else who entered. <:^[

I say you just officialize ShannY's vote, pass out the prizes (if there are any), and call it a contest.
