I do not see the point in celebrating this fact; apart from his status as an admin, Sean is easily comparable in skill to several others.

Several others who are a fair bit more active, I might add.

Areetsa, please don't be so argumentative. Sean is a Cirtified LEGO Professional. Though there are many people who could build the things he does and has the "skill" to do so, Sean is a master builder! Nothing can diminish that title and respect.

Also, his opinion is rarely shared, therefor more worth the earning.

I think he has a good opinion of this group, thus we should be excited about him joining.

I agree, but I was actually excited because this is the only time I've seen him in one of the groups I'm in. I don't usually see him socializing here.

I am not being argumentive.

I am stating that merely because he is a MOCpages admin and is certified as a professional doesn't make him any more a great builder than a large number of others.

Thus, his joining the group is no more a cause for celebration than the joining of someone like Kelso, Stafford, Nannan etc.

I think Sean's membership is a sign of a well-rounded, mature, and good group. It is an honor.

Well, SNOT is a fairly well-known technique that I know Sean uses frequently, so I'm not at all surprised that he has joined this group. Still, it's exciting to have a professional on board.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Geeez, slow down! What, Sean Kenny joins and I get seven comments in less than twenty minutes! This is a little crazy! I think we've had enough on this subject matter so I'm closing the topic.
