Just Trying to keep the conversation alive. It seems like no contest = no conversation. I have reseived Word that Jibby will post Rules tomorrow for all those egar members (Like ME!)to see the rules and enter. My Entry was made awhile ago but I haven't posted it yet Because Jibby hasn't posted the rules

As I promised, here are the Summer Contest Rules!
Summer Contest Theme: In this contest you may build anything you desire. There are a few rules though. No clay, plasticene, paper ect. Custom decals ARE allowed. No custom parts allowed, except brickarms/similar.
Deadline for entries: 31st August 2009
Entries per entrant: 2 maximum
Judges: The guy With the Hat

TO ENTER THIS CONTEST YOU MUST BE A GROUP MEMBER. Please add all entries to the group creations and you MUST post a link here in this conversation. That makes it easier for the judges.
Have fun building whatever you want as you have all Summer/Winter?

What do you mean by "custom decals"? Really isn't a part practically the same as a decal?
Or when you say decal, do you mean custom minifig prints?[As in Fine Clonier Decals?"]
And when you say "Brickarms/Similar", does that include things like Brickforge, MMCB, and Arealight etc. ?
'Custom decals' are unnofficial decals i.e not made by the Lego Company.
Brickarms/'Similar' means all Brickforge, MMCB and Arealight.

What paint do you use??? I use acrylic, ubs off easily but helmets aren't moved that much, and it dries in a couple minutes.

I use regular craft paint., however I give it 3-5 coats for exrta "good looks". My dumb camera's battery is exhausted so I cant give you a picture. How I make them is, cut off the long back part, smooth it to a semi circle,sand the top ridge down to nothing, then paint. I can make All sorts of helmets. stalhelm, m1, and many more.

Why does everyone what to become a Admin/Mod?
I select people who contribute to the group often and with good comments.
Thats how you become a Mod.
I will only select another Admin if they are already a Mod, and contribute to the group with good comments all the time and are great at running the group... Someone like Nicky B...
