Hm, I'm not a friend of "top 10"s, as every car builder is unique. Firas for example took the whole car thing to a completely new level here on MOCpages. But now every car by any builder is rated with Firas in mind... "Almost as good as Firas" or "Better than Firas" - Oh well...?!That's totally rubbish IMHO (as well as "Better / Worse than XY"). Well then, here are some car makers that deserve some attention: Firas (well, certainly...do I need to say more?), Patrick L. & Jason son (crazy stuff, simple, clean and never fail to surpise with another incredible ride), Ape Fight & Nick Barret (LEGO at it's studdy best...classic style creations), Ryan Link (another prancing horse addicted tiffoso... his Ferraris blew my mind!), Biczzzzz (it seems he's adding one or two creations a year...but those are just stunningly incredible. His Alfa Romeo encouraged me sooooo much), lego 911 ("simple" mid-scaled rides from down-under... you will find this guy and his outstanding collection of cars from all ages & countries at flickr), mattyy666 (who jumped up several levels with a small amount of bricks at hand), Rolands Kirpis (sometimes you might think he used glue to attach these plates, slopes and wedges...NO! He didn't - which makes it even more stunning)... hm, and then we have this crazy guy who puts just EVERY single detail like complete working suspension in his racing cars... 24h du Mans at their finest: Malte (sure, one day there will be another one who squeezes the whole stuff in a car *hint hint hint*, but it'll be just a cheap copy). That's it, just to name a few you should check out. I guess I've forgotten many cool guys & gals, so just look around & form your own opinion. Have fun, Jens

Firas is at the top of any car related list - deservedly so.

For me, other great builders are (in no particular order)

Fred Ottens - master of invention

Patrick L. - Often mentioned in the same breath as Firas for good reason

Rolands Kirpis - Interesting and rare cars done really well.

Sven Bode and Jens Matuschek - Quantity and quality!

Mattyy 666 - Recently stepped up several levels.

R.H. - Another builder who's producing real quality

Henry Sheperd - Old school studs and very fine details.

Ape Fight - Great old school technic work.

Nate Andrews - Mr. Muscle Car.

.. and the best thing is, there's loads more out there!

But let's not forget Johannes R, the one who inspired me (and several others) to build 10-wide cars. For me, he's still the king of old-school building.
