if you are a magic user, be sure to list what magic abilities you can use. max of 5.
1-dabbles in magic
2-apprentice at magic
3-able to hold their own with magic
4-great with magic
5-Masterful with magic
(Please note that my character is a sorcerer, and is only at '3' with magic. I would suggest starting with 1 or 2 to begin with, unless your a wizard. )

By all means, list them. Because the actual 'game' hasn't started yet if you start at a lvl. 4 magic user you are pretty much just that. You will always have opportunity to learn new skills in-game from a trainer, but to do so will requite you to make at least a small moc of your training.

If you choose to start as this you will mainly be a magic user, not much else. I put a cap on things to keep people from goddmodding, so please don't defy that rule.

Can we still make cities, castles, etc. even though the it hasn't started?

You should probably assign moderators to help enforce that rule.

Oh, by all means, yes! Feel free to make your homeland, family, or pretty much anything ever relating to Corhaven! The more things we have to refer to about your character the better.

I will eventually. This will be decided based on the members contribution quality. So far you're at the top of my list. I'll probably assign these as soon as I can get 1 or 2 more people to join.

I'm going to go ahead and enable summoning spells too, They can be a valueable addition to Corhaven.

Rules:
You can only have 1 of that creature summoned at a time.
The creature must be of your own design, no summoning elves if they're a race, get it?

Kind of random, I know, but I'm working on some of the leaders for the different armies right now and one of them needs some new spells. :)

(all my 'story' pictures will be done via ving, because I certainly don't have enough doubles to produce whole armies. ( I collect mainly unique lego pieces.))

Yea, sorry about the whole delays between posts. I am currently having a hectic time with AP classes at school, and Haven't had much time for anything other than homework... Ugh.

Expect major advances and such over the weekends. :)

What are AP classes, I haven't heard the term before?

It's just a silly little term we use at my school. It stands for 'advanced placement' and you can get college credits from taking them and passing the exam. its just really HARD is all. They take up almost all of my time with homework.

Cool. My school only has French and Spanish classes. :( I don't like either, but I have to take one. So I chose French, and it sucks. (no Offense to anyone who likes it.)

ok i do have questions cause i just started here.

Yea, you can do that, but -only- if you are a Fae. They are the only race with that kind of knowledge of necromancy. If you do do this, please come up of a way for your character to join the party, as right now that may be complicated with us fighting the Fae and all.

Otherwise, you can be a necromancer and another race, but you wouldn't be able to raise the dead. That ability is strictly Fae.

If you want it to, sure. If it is a dragon, then it will know breath magic, that's it. Dragons are smart and wise, but don't have the right tongues to articulate words, and therefore magic. (most magic is triggered by a ceremony, rite, potion, or words.)

However, as a starting character it is important that you know that you cannot be a master mage and a master warrior at the same time. For starting out you could know a little fighting, and a lot of magic, or vice versa. There will be opportunities to learn both throughout the RP comic.

Well i have been thinking of making two people. They will be brothers but it will be the classic one follows light and becomes a paladin and the other becomes a dark wizard which eventually becomes a lich necromancer. (the paladin will be my main character) if its too much then i can just cut out the dark wizard.

It would be preferred if you keep the number of characters to a minimum. Thank you. Don't forget to post your character stats in the 'character--->' topic!

You would probably be a level 1, because level one gives you ONE magic spell. In this case, it could be the use of levitating swords, making them apparate ect. I'm not too concerned about this one, cause I got A LOT of swords I can use for this effect in-comic.
