Another MOCmember Dead?!
Sigh... So, Caboose just deleted his account seconds ago, right before I left his last comment. I just wanted to let y'all know that this shouldn't be happening around here, and it's all because of us. He claims that everyone is mean to him, and I don't want this to happen in this group. Here's the messege I left for him in his last MOC, "Time To Put Out The Fire":

It doesn't matter if people are mean to you, or if you don't have much likeits. Just shrug and chill. C'mon, guys don't hold grudges. You need to learn how to accept criticism, and if it's so bad that you'd really like to ban that person from MOCpages, email Sean. Just check out other MOCs more often, comment more so people will like you, and make lots of favorite builders (AKA FB friends) so they can get informed each time you make one. Try to get connected with other people you admire in a source that's outside of MOCpages, like a web chatroom. But it's up to you if you actually want to start over or not. I mean, I agree... MOCpages is getting worse by the day, but if you actually manage to stasy active, you can get yourself a spot on most discussed, or maybe most popular this week. Do anything to get your name in the most places, and actually try be a good admin of groups. I don't actually know you that well, and I've only seen you once, because you have so many limited interests, and you aren't in any of the groups I'm in, and actually stay active so people can check you out. I hope this isn't an outrageous waste of my time, but please take my advice into consideration. ~Le

I'm not kidding. This happened to 4 people I already know in the past year. Please let me know what you think.

I completely agree. I know I have only been here a short while, but this kind of thing happens on a lot of different sites, but it shouldn't. A group like this should be supportive, and although I don't know any specific details, I can state for a fact that his Lego career is now over. It happens all the time. If he can't post his creations online and feel safe at the same time, who will he share his talents with? That's the heart and soul of LEGO. It means "Play Well". This member can no longer do that.
Even if I don't necessarily "like" someones creation, I can still criticize in a nice way. (Instead of "Your engines suck" you could tell them a slight way to improve: "Try using piece -----").
And for heaven sakes, COMPLIMENT PEOPLE. I have seen whole groups sit around and do NOTHING (not this group) while someone else's masterpiece (not mine) is put right in front of their faces. Find the good/strong point in their creation. Whether you know it or not, most of your skills come from other people. You unconsciously take the building techniques of other creations you see, and incorporate them into your Lego. Tell people that you like their creation. It makes them feel special, and even if they aren't so good right now, you can come back later and see the progress that person has made.

Yes! For someone to leave, it's just not natural. This is MOCpages, for Pete's sake, not Facebook! This is a site mainly for kids 12 and under, the age for Lego building, even though I'm 14. And most of the members on here are over that age, and yet they get bullied. It makes no sense...

Yep. I do. But you probably already knew that. I also compliment you on your admin-ing skills. I would have thought you were older by the way you type/present yourself. (I'm 16.)

Oh, I'm also asian, and specifically Vietnamese. I knew 2 languages since when I was 2, and I'm starting to learn Japanese, Latin, and spanish. btw, I have a straight 100 this quarter in English/Grammar. So, I just have a special ability to easily learn new languages. I didn't know English until I was 4, and now, I'm surprised I have the highest grade in my grade...

Well, it is sad. You know, you shouldn't favorite and give I-likes to all of the good builders. Their creations are always on the front page. Instead, give them to people that look like they need the help. If a creation looks like a lot of work was put into it, but it is still not that good, give it an I-like.

im very sorry, but i have been trying to make star wars mocs and it seems that i cant do it, i have to leave commando squad, im tearing my brain apart trying to get a replica of a model or a custom model, i cant take it any more, i know you'll probably fuss over this like the guy who deleted his account, im screaming in my room trying to figure out how to keep my mocs stable and secure!

Well,Lewis, according to Ryles in the conversation about the group pic we are not entirely Star Wars so I s'pose you can make anything. So don't go!

its just that i always see SW mocs and not much of anything else

Well, I'd get in touch with EKO. He's really good with those types of MOCs, and if you'd just talk to him, he'll give you some inspiration. :)

Yeah his mocs are really good I turn to him for some inspiration just look at his mocs and people who wish they had better mocs should not just sit there and complain. Observe, remember, take notes do something to make a person motivated to get that moc done right.

I agree with you, but people shouldn't be mean in the first place. Did you even ask Caboose why he felt bad? You could've done the slightest thing to him, and he could've taken offense. Some people are more sensitive than others and take offense to the slightest thing you say. You just need to be careful what you say about anything around them. And I have one person that added me as their favorite builder. It's not like people just add you at the first comment you make on one of them. I added you as a favorite builder because I think you have creative creations(no pun intended)and you have good points. The first thing I did when I got my MOCpages account was to comment on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING I saw. It was just TODAY I got a favorite builder. I don't have that many friends, either.
Vince, I'm not contradicting you, I'm just saying this.
