double check the computer, carma (if it's working probarty) and expessially check the wire you use to commect the carma to the computer, I mixed them up, wasted about 35 minutes figuring why it won't work! XD

Lots of modern computers (including laptops) offer a multi-purpose SD card slot on the front. See if you can remove the memory card from the camera and plug it into your computer.
