Hmmm... But did you know that as an admin I can change the invite settings? At the moment the rules are "Everyone with a MOCpages account is able to join the group." I was sure that it worked, but I'll see what else I can do.

"Friends of friends
People can only join if they've been invited by a group admin or by another member."
So now everyone should be able to invite members now. :)

Yeah, probably because there aren't that many people actually active on MOCpages. Sure, there are thousands upon thousands of members, but there aren't enough of them on MOCpages who are active that aren't already part of this group :(

First off, I'm afraid only Admins can invite new members. Sadly, there's just no way for Moderators to invite people.
Yes, you could comment on one of their creations giving a link to the FOTB telling them a recommend joining this group, but that'd be considered spamming.
Since only Admins can invite people, I recommend typing in a common name in the "Invite Box" and invite every single person with that name.
Just start clickin'!

There are so many ways how to invite members. It's very important for me that we welcome the new LOTR-fans. Sometimes I visit the LOTR creations section on Explorepage, to see if there are any new LOTR creations and if they are from new builders. Then again I look at popular LOTR creations and invite everyone who commented on them. Another thing I did is inviting all the people who are members of MOCpages' biggest group "the spanish trampoline", but I'm only half way through, because it takes veeery long. Last but not least, I made a list with the most common names on MOCpages (like Mark, John, etc) and invited all the people with a body icon.
The problem is that for some reasons the invite box won't load anymore. (Maybe I just invited too many people who didn't reply) So I really need some help by people who have a better MOCpages access.

Yes, but FoB is MOCpages 4th biggest group. It was a long way and we needed much time, so don't worry, if your group doesn't have so many members yet. FOB was founded in 2009.

That's true. I always check out the LOTR bracket on the eyplore page though and very often find MOCs from new builders.
