War of the 7th Age
Join to comment
Hi everyone.
For those of you who don't know, a few monhs ago I began the Great Force War, a role playing star wars group that became very popular and is still running today.

Due to the success of the group I have decided to start a Lord of the Rings based version called the War of the 7th Age which can be found here : http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/21454

The group involves creating a sig-fig and then participating in weekly missions. You do not have to take part in every mission unless you are of a higher rank so even if you aren't sure sign up for the first mission and see what you think!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to read this and I hoipe to see at the War of the 7th Age soon!

Sorry, but I probably can't join. I tried a group like this, and I just couldn't kep up with the schedule. I would probably miss too many missions. Maybe later though. It sounds cool!

I don't have much time to build, because school starts on Wednesday, but I'd like to enter and follow the series and help with some advice, etc. Perhaps I will even find the time for 1 or 2 MOCs too. :)

Thanks for invite, I'll probably join. Idea is nice, but why 7th Age and why Mordor? World could change so much through 3 ages and evil could rise in another place.

And the elves are probably all gone, the ents asleep, the orcs all dead and the dwarves' and hobbits' population very small, if they are still there at all. Minas Tirith is a very big and old city so it is possible that it is still there. Same with Helms Deep and Rivendell. So Mordor sounds good to me for an evil base. I also like the idea that Easterlings are the new danger, since they are the only enemies left.

Not ALL the leves, but almost, I would say many of the elves of Mirkwood would still be in Middle-earth, since they did not as commonly go over the sea like the Lorien or Rivendell elves.

Ah, of course, I totally forgot about that. That's right, because the elves of Mirkwood are Moriquendi who do not leave Middle Earth. Though in the 3rd age the great time of the elves is over and they are not as frequent as they used to be. The 4th age is officially known as the age of men and disappearance of the other races, so why should the other races stay for another 4 ages? They would get tired of the world, I mean even Legolas who is comparatively young for an elf left after Aragorn's death. I really do not think that the other races still play role in the 7th age. If they are still there, they would live in very small populations in hidden places and not many men would even know that they still exist. Just an idea, the 7th age project is fan-made so it doesn't have to be realistic.

Agreed, very few elves would still live in Middle-Earth, even a lot of the Mirkwood elves would get tired of the world. I feel that Hobbits and Men would be the predominant races still left.
