Think of it, the very active person who has been on here since the beginning, or the random noob, who posts a comment or two every four years... It just wouldn't be that fair. A contest, on the other hand, to celebrate having 1000 members would be pretty good. Just my opinion.

Good idea! I think our 1000th member celebration should be more than a simple reward for a random member. Perhaps we should reward him/her, start a contest and some people add creations in which they write something about the group, etc. Perhaps it could even be the main topic for the contest. (The Fellowship of the Brick: 1000 members. Or: The Fellowship of the Brick's 3rd MOCiversary, or something)

He was in this group before, but now he joined again, so I guess he had left without saying anything and now came back just to get his MOC more popular. News like that make me sad. :(

I think the reason is; he gets invited to so many groups it may become a little over whelming for him. He is Blake Baer you know;)

Maybe, I can't understand that guy though. I mean this is The Fellowship of the Brick, the biggest and most active group he ever joined. This is the first group I joined, so it is obviously the last one I would leave or be inactive in. Maybe that's the reason why I can't understand someone else's decision.
