I thought this topic would be interesting. Just follow the topic; what is your LEGO collection like? How many sets do you own in all, and do you have more than one of more set? How many pieces do you own in all? How many minifigures do you own in all? Do you keep your LEGO collection organized, and if so how do you organize it?

I have 3 droid battle packs, but I don't have many sets more than once. My minifig collection includes 400 or something. I must count them again... XD

Do you have a Brickset account? Brickset helps you calculate your count of sets, pieces, minifigures, etc.; you just have to add all the sets that you know that you own first. I have 22,219 pieces, 284 minifigures, and 206 sets (185 different), making the final cost of $2916! You should get a Brickset account, too sometime.
Thanks!! Please give me a link.

I'd like to I'l try.

By the way I have to many sets to count. I've collected Legos since I was 3 and I'm not one to take sets apart. I'll go count my minifigs sometime when I'm bored.

Same here! I have too many sets to count and many of them are from ebay.

You can still research their price, Brickset automatically adds the prices themselves, you just have to search the set.

I've got an account now!

I have 13,144 pieces, estimated, and 191 minifigs.
I have 97 sets, 83 different. Of course, I have gotten many other sets over the years, that I can't remember, and many bulk bricks and minifigs off ebay and such.

I have also some uncompleted sets and minifigs from ebay. I'm very new to brickset ( I have an account since June) For me it says 210 sets, 189 different, 22,562 pieces and 529 minifigs. Some of them are also from my parents' old collection.

Yeah, recently I've bought sets and parts from Bricklink - it's quite a nice site. So far I bought three orders, one in which I ordered one hundred bright red flags. A little spares for a castle, hehe.

OH! What are you going to build with them? A medieval castle or a LOTR castle?

I was planning on assembling a medieval fantasy-esuqe battle ground with all kinds of towers - that's where the flags come in.

Sounds interesting! Have you already finished your LEGO digital designs or is it more like an idea at the moment?

More or less. I fiddled around with some pieces on LEGO Digital Designer and then started assembling watch towers, buildings, battle rams, catapults, etc. The battle field would estimate around two feet in width and four feet in length. I've been planning on this model for about six months now and have came up with multiple concepts for it, such as placing hills across to assemble the towers on top of.

six months - WOOW! I guess this will contain a lot of details (dead minifigs, destroyed buildings etc). How many minifigures do you need on each side?

Using LDD is actually a pretty clever way of making huge battle scenes. Especially since the price of battle packs is now through the roof!
I suppose the amount I have most of is Star Wars - but I remember my first ever set, which was Johnny Thunder's jeep from the adventurers line... those were happy days!

Yeah, I remember! Some of the old sets are still better than most of the newer ones... and licensed products are always more expensive than easy LEGO sets :(

I did a calculation about 5 years ago, I had 33,000 then, should be around 50,000 pieces now. I have 2 Orc Forges, 3 Urik-hia Armies and 2 X-wing fighters.
