Not bad. I might suggest working on the focus with your images. Sometimes for those kinds of posts I've actually taken the picture and then digitally added the fig...it keeps everything in focus that way.

A video is fine, but just keep the fig a main element within the video if that's what you're doing. Remember this is MOCpages, and the posts should be about Lego for the most part. ;-)

Too old.

What's a life?

Yes. Her name is Puth.

I can't answer that one because some readers are too young.

Haven't worked on it for almost a month now, and see no break in the work load...so...NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! (I'm sorry to say)

Mr. Kelso, what do you think of the Gorillaz band and their new album Plastic Beach?

Haven't heard it yet. I've got to get caught up on my music. I'm a fan of the Gorillaz, though...have been ever since their debut with "Clint Eastwood" years ago.

While everyone thinks it was Ali, it was actually an Italian pawn broker from Brooklyn named Vinny.

The easiest way? I'm not sure what you mean. It's only meant to be used one way. But if you're asking for a link or something:

http://www.bricklink.com/catalog.asp

That's the catalog page. Just look for the part you want, them find a buyer that suits your needs (cost, parts count, etc.) and place an order.

Hope that helps a bit.

Ask Kelso podium! Its new! I am still working on it. i wish that Eye of Chaos will be complete soon! Does anyone go to BrickCon? I have been there in 2008. Saw a lego Titanic, AWESOME!!

Haven't personally done BrickCon yet, but several MOCpages peeps have done that one...Heather Braaten, Lee Jones, Alex Eylar, Shannon Young, to name a few.

I used to show in that exact same building and room with my artwork for years. I have to say I prefer the Brick World hotel as far as locations. But there are some great builders (and really nice people!) at BrickCon.

Yes but is there an easy way to identify certain parts like this http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=476959? And an easy way to order all that parts while saving time? I hope thats clear

Gotcha...and the answer is basically, no. Identifying parts can actually take some searching (visually or by description), and then finding all that you need can sometimes mean looking at several different sellers, and eventually purchasing from multiple stores...there's no way around that. It can actually take from a few minutes, to hours, depending on what you're looking for and availability. No real tips to offer untortunately, you just have to do some digging.

Cade, I can relate! Been suffering from that for almost a month now. That compounded by a horrendous work schedule, and I feel like I'm slipping into a short dark age...not cool.

So when that happens, I turn to the things that inspire me. I put on Family Guy, or old Bugs Bunny cartoons; or I'll dig out sci-fi movies and box sets; or I'll go through old posts of favorite builders.

Right now, I've got some stuff to work on as a result of doing just what I described. Now I just have to find the time to build. Meanwhile, I hope that suggestion helps you out!

I'd say no. Unless the violence is particularly extreme, you're probably just fine. (We've had numerous conversations about how troubling it is that topics of sex are considered obscene while topics of violence are perfectly acceptable...but that's just the way things are).

As for the british vernaculars, you should also be fine with that. There are a couple expressions that you should avoid...unfortunately I also have to avoid them in this post, so I can't really tell you what they are, can I? ;-)

Don't sweat it, though. I think you'll be fine.

Wow, man...REALLY nice. Not much to critisize. Clean build, great parts usage. Not much more I can say. I suppose I could nit a bit and tell you to consider a photo-enhancing application to brighten up your shots and clean the white background, but that's such a minor issue.

Great work!

Here it is Mark: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/225854
Just posted it.

Alright, for starters...love the concept. I did a play my theater days where two strangers met and slowly went mad, one eventually kiling the other. It was a powerful idea, and this has some of those same strange, but intriguing qualities.

I think you could have tried setting the figs at angles to the base, for more visual interest. Everything is square right now, and an offset angle somewhere in there would break up the grid-like visual pattern that's a bit strong.

Also, had you considered doing the base with studs sideways? The blood effect could be much more detailed and specific if done with plates turned on their sides. Just a thought.

Finally, I might have actually played around with some lighting for my presentation. Strong shadows (I mean like BLACK) around the scene, with light hitting the characters would heighten the impact of that little MOC like crazy.

You know, I can remember when Halo 3 was supposed to be the last in the series. I seem to recall being rather pleased by reading that.

And then came a glorified mod. Eh. Expansion pack. Then came the RTS. Irritating, but not that much of a problem.

And now there's this.

How many Halo games are there going to be before the series finally dies?

Also I definitely hope your brother's at least 13, because otherwise I'm pretty sure he's legally not supposed to be playing it.
