I need help coordinating my first comic. Mostly I need help with lighting, effects, storyline, stuff like that.

Lighting is one of the trickest parts of any moc, Comic or otherwise. What I use for lighting is a small, inexpensive clip on light. I picked up two of them at Home Depot for about 8 bucks each. I only have had to use one of them so far, but it more than serves it's purpose.

By using a clip on light, you can move it easily and put it where you need your lighting. Whereas with a desk lamp, it's a lot harder to move around and set where you need it.

You can even change the light bulb to different colors if you wish. Just be sure the rest of the room is pitch black or you could get some bleedover from the other light source and dilute the effect you're going for.

Funny you should ask... Let's set the wayback machine for... 1995. I was on the road still with Disney on Ice and was in Europe at the time. I picked up a couple of small sets (they had to fit in my suitcases) and started building with them on my own. My wife (not my wife at the time obviously) and I started dating and one of the things we would do to pass the time was build. Long story short, she knew what she was getting in to...

the fact that she didn't run screaming is a true testiment to her character. Or maybe she's just in to charity cases, who knows.

Of course now, she despises the hobby. She comes up with every excuse in the book as to why, but we'll leave that to speculation for now.

That certainly works against food thieves at work! Someone kept taking my Hostess cupcakes, so I doctored one up with jalapeno sauce. I later found it in the trash can with one bite taken out of it. Of course, I DO NOT recommend this course of action to anyone else. In fact, I suggest that it NOT be done. It is NOT a nice thing to do to someone. Plus, it could also result in adverse reactions fromthe adult authority figures in your life.

Of course it's not nice, but neither is biting someone, or stealing their food. For all he knew, you might have had some rare medical condition and developed a habit of mixing your medicine with your food.

It's a quick, nasty method of getting revenge, and it doesn't permamently injure anyone. Well, not physically.

Mentally, they may not want to go anywhere near you or your food for months afterwards, but that's probably a good thing.

That was a very funny movie, indeed! Along about the middle of the movie I got the impression that, if they had just thrown down their weapons and split, the predator would have left them alone! Not likely. The price point for Lego hasn't actually gone up all that much over the years. If you break it down, most sets run in the average of about 10 cents per piece. For example, if you get a $60 set, most likely your parts count on that set will be in the 600 range. Lego's not going anywhere my friend.

Well, I'm sure he learned long ago how to enlarge photos of *something*!

But seriously, I'll just copy-paste the answer I gave to this question in another group.

Okay, here's what you do:

1) From your homepage, click "Add a LEGO creation"

2) From the "Add a LEGO creation" page, click "Add photos"

3) Click the "Center" option, and upload your pic

4) When your pic is uploaded, look for the block of html text.
Find the width="175 height="159" chunk of text, and simply type the size you want in place of the numbers there.

Just don't get too carried away. Remember - the bigger the pic, the longer the loading time.
Since posting that comment, I've figured out how to enlarge my photos. The answer was in the uploading menu. All I had to do was Pick the 'large' option. Silly me. =P Thanks for the instructions anyhow, I'm sure someone else will need them.
