I instantly thought of a dangling brown carrot...Lee's scarred me for life.

Which is what happens to anyone he comes in contact with. Fotunately he also has the unique ability to make none us MIND the fact that we're irrevocably damaged goods!

I, for one, LOVE your Apocalypse posts. I read and gander at them at *least* twice a month!
I must also say that I also was surprised and awed by the 'mind phantoms' in the cave sequence. So much so that I created my own picture based off of yours... Now that's fandom.

I can't tell you how cool that is to hear. I'm just sorry that I'm not able to move faster on the series. No more SHIPs after the Eye of Chaos, until I get the Apocalypsis series concluded!

With my current "project" in the works, SOMEONE has to do that "one" ship I told you about. You know, the "one" that flies in "space." The one that you would need "balls" of steel to try to build... any of this sinking in?

But, what are you going to do with it Mark? When it's all done? Hang it from the ceiling? And how many pieces will it have when finished?
Just curious.

Do with it? Once completed and hung, I'm going to sit and stare at it, and go "Boy, that was expensive and time consuming." Then I'll get up and start tearing it down for the NEXT project!

Actually with this one, I'm trying to build it in a way that it can be easily transported, so I can at least show it at a few cons before recycling. But inevitably it will be torn down for parts.

As for the pieces count, I have no idea. It's too difficult for me to count the number of pieces involved. I'll build a section and tear it apart several times before being satisfied. And each time the piece count is different. I'd love to know myself, but it's not THAT important! ;)

You poor sap - all my digital creations (including ones I haven't posted) take up less than 10 MegaBytes of disk space! I could store all those, plus the programs I use to make them on a standard USB flash-drive and still have space left over. :) Ahhh, the joys of building digital...

With all those pieces, he could build a 1:100 scale of The Death Star. And I knew, he had like 1x1 red in a tote, then 1x2 red,1x3 red and so on through every color. ALL FULL!

Another option, which has a slightly different effect, is to use a plate, covered in 1 x 2 tiles. Some of these tiles can be only partially attached to the plate to create an uneven surface, and enhance the look of the brick effect. See here:

http://mocpages.com/moc.php/81838

The plate itself is just attached to some technic bricks with half pins, or some brick 1 x 4 with studs on the side.

Good luck.

You could achieve a very similar effect with more common pieces, such as Technic bricks and 1/2 pins, or the "headlight" bricks ( http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/4070 ) placed between regular 1x1 bricks (with 1x1 plates on the SNOT side of the headlights, of course).

Yeah, but the technic pins are a bit too loose for my tastes, and the headlight bricks alter the level at which the tiles lay against the wall. I know...#*&"!...picky, picky, picky!!!

By the way, if you post something like this in Brick-Busters group, we might have better luck in finding the original and getting the swipe deleted. (although I haven't been there yet...maybe you already did post it there). That's what the group's designed for. I'm glad to check it out here, and it's fine that you brought it to my attention. As much as none of us enjoy seeing someone bullied, there's simply nothing that we can do about it. Even here on MOCpages, the scope of what we can and cannot do is limited.

That being said, you also have to understand that this IS the internet and as much as we don't want to admit it, some people are just not going to play nice. Now, in my groups and so on, I keep an eye on stuff like that and try to reign it in when I can. But that's in MY groups. Unless someone is doing something malicious (and it HAS happened so it's not like I'm just giving "for examples" here.), there's not a whole lot that we can do about "bickering" and "being mean."

Trust me, I'd like to... we just can't. Not as moderators anyway...

Now, that doesn't mean to say that we can't say something as adults. If this continues on MOCpages, let me know and we'll see if we can do anything... but no promises.

Thanks Chris for those words of insight. And really I brought it up was because he is starting to get angry with a lot of people on the 'pages and is trying to destroy a lot of people.

This is the part I'll never understand... unless you give someone your password, they can't actually DO anything to you (or anyone). All this talk of "I will destroy you!" is really... just... (edited so I don't have to approve every comment that responds to me)

No one can "destroy" anyone here. Not only is this a Lego site, but... IT'S A LEGO SITE!

*slaps forehead*

Other than that...
