I caught the last 15 minutes of it this morning on cartoon network and I have a few questions.

A: Did anyone else see this?

B: Why haven't we been talking about this for weeks anticipating it's arrival?

C: Why didn't anyone TELL me!??!

Oh, and D: Does anyone know if it'll be on again?

And I guess E: If you did see it, what are your thoughts?

I don't have TV (I have *a* TV - but no satellite or cable and whatnot...) So, no. I did not see it. But I'm not worried - I'll bet someone will post it on YouTube sometime soon and I'll catch it then.

A.Yes
B.Not exactly sure...
C.I assumed you knew
D.I will make another assumption and say yes.
E.My thoughts? Well, if you like thirty minute infomercials, then this is for you! I missed the first ten minutes, but from the last twenty, I don't think I missed much. It was nothing more than a preview of their line. There was know peripheral use of LEGO, only the official sets. I'm sure kids will love it but there was no substance, just advertising. I did not get the impression that this will be any kind of ongoing t.v. series, but I could be wrong. If it does continue on, I hope they incorporate more LEGO in the background. Literally, if it's not in one of the sets, it wasn't on the show.~H

Oh yeah, I was pretty sure it was a half hour commercial and nothing more. I actually said that to my wife when it was over. But it was still fun to watch.

Hey, since we both missed the first 10 minutes, how do we know that they didn't have Anthony Sullivan doing the opening credits? Or the ShamWOW guy?

A: I so happened to have seen it myself oddly. I was channel surfing and happened to catch a large chunk of it.

B: Coordinating an event with too many people is too hard.

C: I did, but you were passed out. (You still owe me for two rounds)

D: Me don't know.

E: I found it rather amusing; though the sequences of events went by a bit too fast. I won't give away the ending though.

I'm just here to say, lego exaturrated (sorry about spelling) the meaning of Atlantis so much. Atlantis is actually an ancient story about a Greek city that was drowned by tsunamis but somehow, the people adapted to living underwater. Lego is just making a big mess out of it. I would find it interesting if Lego made their Atlantis sets historically accurate. Just here to say that.

I'm not actually saying that the true story of Atlantis is true, I am just stating that Lego could have been more accurate to the legend.

But even in ancient times every new bard or storyteller added their own slant to the tales they related. Legends and myths always have been and always will be changed with the passing of time. The story of Atlantis didn't originate with Plato; he got it from Solon, who in turn heard it from the Egyptians. I have no doubt that each in turn added or detracted some little embellishment or other. Anyway, it is a Grand Myth, one of those which seem to have a counterpart in many different cultures and societies. As such, we can be sure the basics of the legend are there; Atlantis was a realm which sank beneath the oceans, its inhabitants were technologically advanced but not morally superior. My own personal theory is that the Azores are the tops of the northern mountains of the lost continent, which would put it west of the Pillars of Hercules as the legend states. How large it may have been I have no idea. It certainly would make a great series for Mocing.

A: Yes

B: Dunno

C: I tried, but you and Kelso were... busy.

D: Probably someday, perhaps check YouTube.

E: Well, it was entertaining, but yes, it was an informercial. The only brain stimulating use of LEGO was to make a crab trap. The sequence of events passed by in a flash, but all in all it was enjoyable.

I watched it, it was pretty good. It was pretty neat seeing all of the Atlantis sets put into a cartoon. I guess it is worth watching again.

I haven't seen it, and probably won't get the opportunity unless they put it on their site, but after looking at those projected sets, I'd say we'll probably have to create our own traditional legend Mocs. But I'm still gonna buy a couple of the sets, for parts.

Probably the ShamWOW guy saying (From that kitchen tool thingamajig) "Kids, you're gonna love my nuts!" All of the HALO kiddies probably are watching this and saying "Mommy, an I getz some of deez for ma collection? lol"
