EKO BUILDER in his (long) title says the f word, and he is on the explore page. Can you guys do anything about it?...

I saw it too he only blocks out one letter.

He shouldn't block out any letters, just not even write it...

I never said it was right, just saying he blocks a letter out.

Why do you seem to be hunting these people down? Does it really matter to you that bad what someone says on their page? It is in the dictionary after all, so it's not like it's not a valid word. Puto isn't though.....but it seems to pass the filter test.

It's not so much OUR being upset about it, but making sure parents don't get upset about it. The problem is, despite what people think, sites CAN be shut down or totally blocked on the net. Also, if we don't want the powers-that-be policing us, we have to police ourselves.

The other side of the coin is that free expression is a basic right, and also one of the prime tenants of artistic creativity. There is a very narrow path to be tread here, one of ensuring that YFOLs and TFOLs are allowed to express themselves creatively while at the same time making sure that they don't see or read what their parents don't want them to.

There are people on both sides of the issue who overreact, and they're not really to be faulted for that. When you care very strongly and deeply about an issue, it's difficult to remain calm and rational. The 60's Peace Movement is a prime example. But I digress.

The issue will not go away. Eventually there will be an understanding and a compromise (which is not a bad thing, BTW); but until then, we'll just have to cope with the angry exchanges and the voices of protest. Debate is one of the best ways for resolution of problems. And that;s about all I'm going to say on the matter.

Will you quit it please?

EVERYONE should just quit it! This is Mocpages Advice, not Schoolyard Putdown. If you guys want to be taken seriously, you must realize this doesn't help. The more you taunt someone, the angrier they get. Haven't you realized that by now? Please don't make any more comments about matters that don't concern Mocs. Save the putdowns and comebacks for outside.

So, what else do you think should be done with topics that've served their purpose?

Tossed out into the rain, like the goose neck lamp in that Ikea commercial a few years back.
