Chris, I know you have helped someone before do this but my brother was removed as admin from the group. If you can just ask him to restore him back to power he would be glad. The group is right here http://mocpages.com/group.php/9280 His name is Captain Qwark

I can't see the group because it's a private one, but if I'm not mistaken, there will always be at least one Administrator per group, and that person has the capacity to add other admins. He's the one you'll need to check with about getting your brother reinstated. Good luck.

but now it is all fine.

Are you refering to the one where Chris helped out, or your own current situation?

Oh, and as far as what we (the moderators) see...At this time we don't have immediate access to view all groups. Those that are set up as private, are also private from us.

I meant somehow this guy became an admin and my bro didn't make him one.

You guys made him an Admin because he said he could invite some people.

I meant somehow this guy became an admin and my bro didn't make him one. Then he removed my bro. So he had no power.

Look, your brother had to have made him an admin. There's no other way to get into that position. Anyway, it sounds like the guy just wanted control, so he promised your brother new members. Your brother got burned, and if the guy's as dishonest as he sounds, there's no way your brother's going to get that group back. The best thing to do is make a new group, and BE CAREFUL WHO YOU ELEVATE!!!

He won't listen.

People like that will hand positions of importance to anyone who asks; I've even seen (was invited to) groups where the first five or twenty people get made moderators or admins.

If clonetards wouldn't elevate anyone who asked nicely, Phaze there wouldn't have been able to do NEARLY as much damage.

It's a pity more of them didn't take the bait when he was doing it.

Too bad. Well, it was a good life lesson, IF he learns from it. Some never do. Obla Dee, Obla Dah.

I happened to be looking through the pages and clicked on a certain group, (which shall remain nameless), and found something incredibly ludicrous. They have 46 members and 23 of them are Admins! I find that hilariously funny! Just thought I'd share this, since it bears on the thread, a little. Any one of those guys could upset the apple cart!

I've seen worse, groups where all 50+ embers are admins.
