glad I found this thread... I was about to create a new one for this!

Well, I use LDD quite a lot. Nearly all of my LEGO creations were originally made there, and I pretty much never purchase my MOCs (It's because they are so expensive). I heard of LDRAW somewhere on this site... so I decided to try it out.

From what I've heard, LDRAW has more parts, more techniques, etc. There is just one big problem: I can't even figure out how to download it properly!

So could someone please tell me the best way to download LDRAW? Thanks.

Dude, not everyone HAS many LEGO bricks. I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TO MAKE NEARLY ANYTHING. Additionally, I dont have much more than just blocks. You're also assuming that everyone can AFFORD that many LEGO bricks. It's time you see both halves of the argument. Heck, i could have written a NOVEL on why digital LEGO is awesome. Not only does it benefit the builder in many ways, the viewer can even download it and have it for themselves! And, my current project just went over 12000 bricks. I can build faster, with more parts, and bigger. I CAN BUILD EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE THE PARTS TO.

But see, personally, I find that takes the skill out of it all.

If I had infinite bricks, I'd be an amazing builder. But that doesn't real warrant much praise. It's the building style that matters. Why do you think things as small as twenty to thirty pieces are so highly regarded?

I understand the whole 'But I dun't haz enuf brickzzzz!11!1!1'. But, in reality, you probably do, you just don't know what to do with them.

First of all, you probably THINK you know what you are saying is good advice, but in reality you haven't actually seen my parts. I'm tempted to take a picture... there are probably about 100 of them, and most are blocks. Heck, ALL of them are blocks. I could probably make something REALLY REALLY LAME, but not any of the things I actually want to build. What is the point of building if you can't build what you want to build? You could also say "Then buy some!". Well, can't really afford that. Saving up for LEGO NXT, however. Gosh, I just ask how to download better digital LEGO software and people HAVE to say how much they dislike digital LEGO...
