Keith - was Lee Van Cleef not one of the BEST western actors of his day?

Indeed he was, he was also awesome in Escape From New York.

Oh Yeah! I forgot about that! I like him best in For a Few Dollars More; Good, Bad, Ugly (no comments Chris); and the trilogy he did with Sergio Leone that did not have Clint in it, forgot the name...darn it

yanking my chain

stiffed, with no lubricant

Phipson, Kelso, either of you guys wanna take a shot at these?

Actually, I'm pretty sure he means it just the way it sounds...no further suggestion needed. Sorry to hear that, Keith. That's about a 9.5 on the What-the-Hell-ometer.

Keith, True or False: You were conflicted about the use of non-lego ellements in your MOCs BEFORE the whole contest prize thing.

Let me take this opportunity to thank Keith for NOT stiffing me on the MocOlympics prizes! It seems that there's very few people in the Lego community that you can count on when they tell you something. Let me say publicly that Keith is one of them!

Thank you Keith, you're one of the good ones...

Or bad or ugly... depending on how you look at it.

Harland, what a shocker, you have nothing to say. You seem pretty good at asking questions, but not so good with follow up.

Actually I have been studying for my midterm exam.

So Keith, why only one MOC in the Zombie Survival Guide folder? That stuff was bangin'.

Keith, when and how did you find MOCpages? I've been wondering that for a while and thought that'd be a good question for this group...

Harland, are you yanking my chain again? I had a contest on CSF last year and both of the vendors you mentioned above voluntarily and genrously promised to provide custom items for the winners.

When the both the winners (one of which works for LEGO) tried to claim their prizes, they were given the run-around, and ultimately NOT given their prizes.

In short, Harland, I was stiffed, with no lubricant. They say that blood makes the best lubricant, but they lie.

So are you a total purist or will you still customize parts on your own?

I don't mix Colt 45 with anything except the ladies. Sierra Mist is for CFOLS and XFOLS. Bubbles are for Lawrence Welk and 2 year olds.

He's a bad man, ladies and gentlemen. Keith, if we ever go drinking, I guess I'll need to put my Shirley Temple in a dirty glass.

I am a "total purist".

What would you say is your favorite theme to build in?

I actually have a serious question (well, not riddled with smack and innuendo anyway). Different people have different building styles and approach their builds differently. Some people Sketch out ideas on paper, some use LDD or other programs. Some Like to center a build around one element and others have a general concept in their head and let the brick lead them.

What's your basic approach to starting a build?

...It all starts for me with a mental picture, like a still frame from a movie that I've never seen, and seen a million times.

Thanks Keith. I'm one of those "mental image" builders myself and I just wondered how many of us there were out there.

Thank you.

Kicking Phipson seems like a good idea until you see a photo of him. He looks like a tamed dock-worker, but he'd probably go all Tyson on you if things got dicey even for a moment.

That actually made me laugh out loud. Thanks for the giggle.

I hear Somalia and Chernobyl are also great places for a bit of "real-life post-apoc". ;)

They're not mutated.

Okay, maybe a little.

They haven't got extra heads, okay?

Joking aside, I doubt they're mutated heavily enough to have major differences from yer average comrade bear. Cancer, maybe, but not mind powers.

Not yet, at least.
