Are you EVER going to take a couple days off to come to brickworld? I KNOW we can hook you up with a ride (I smell a duct tape abduction coming up) or something. You live way too close to not be there.

It's a goal of mine to get there some day. One of my major obstacles is work, as I never have the weekends off (literally never, unless I call off or take some personal days, and I don't get paid for either). I'm going to have to see if I can use some vacation time to get up there.

Watch out! I hear Phipson's duct-tape abductions come with a Crisco surprise!

After my third time it stopped being a surprise...still fun, mind you!

Can you give me the pros and cons of my Kirk Kristiansen Memorial Stadium before I buy it?

Mr. Emperor: Where do you get inspiration for your LIU MOCs? They are awesome.

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your question in a timely manner, I didn't see it until now. I don't see any construction cons with the ballpark; it looks great. I think the price could be a con, $1200 is a lot for one set! There appears to be several bricks used for internal support (for the stands and such), and you may be able to drop the price down by removing these bricks. You can use the bricks you already have for that (they shouldn't be seen anyway. Either way, whenever you buy it (if you ever do), be sure to spice it up with a bunch of minifigs. It will really bring it to life.

Thanks Walter. I get most of my inspiration from sci-fi movies and books, other builders creations (we can all learn a lot from looking at other builder's creations), and real life experiences. The LIU is the embodiment of my experiences with the failures of government and the greed of massive corporations.

Can never have too many...
While that can be true, it's not too great when you invite your girlfriend or other people to your house. Then its just weird and awkward.

I do have a lot LEGO, but I'm not sure where you are getting this slave Leia total. I only have one of that particular minifig. Hopefully, I'll never need more than that, but if I ever do, Mr. Phipson could probably loan me one of his less sticky ones.

That's okay. One Princess Leia is enough, especially since she is an arrogant, sarcastic spoiled brat. She must be a Valley Girl. (Just kidding, Leia. You can put down that lightsword now!)

But with 2, you could "double your pleasure, double your fun" (wink, wink; nudge, nudge)!

Well, I gotta admit, when I saw her outfit in Return of the Jedi....
