First, I want to say how great this contest was. I don't think I could ever take the time to make all those reviews, and, if I had, they would have been rather shallow such as, "Bad." or "Great."
As to my creation, as I said, I think all your suggestions were valid and would have made it much more realistic. The counter was really just an issue of trying to make it the focal point, and I didn't really bother with too many different views. As to another shelf creating an asile, I would have loved to do that, but my collection ran out. All in all, I think you did a great job summing up the shortcomings and I hope you do something like this again. Thanks for all the help and time.

That's a very good point. The main action is pretty much centered in the MOC. It looks good, enough so that I asked specifically that you enter it in the contest. It wasn't until I got down to reviewing it critically that I realized it wasn't exactly true to life.

I suspected as much, which is why I threw in the option of adding a few mre customers to occupy the empty space. I'm wondering now if the addition of more aisles would interfere with the focal point, though?

Don't hold your breath, but we'll see!

Keep up the good work. I think you showed a marked inprovement in a very short time -- "Get off my lawn" looks like an early, learning experience, and "Monkeys" looks like the work of a builder who has a solid grasp on what he's doing.
