Alright you lot. When I built Zhar you all complained about his head. The only one that didn't was Berial. I built a new version with better mobility and what I believed to be a better head. I swore I would never use an up turned mask again. Your response: I liked the old one better. As I sit here working on his head yet again, I can't help but wonder the reason I'm doing this. The simple answer: I live for praise or I live to please. I can't decide which . And I'm not getting that. I'm getting complaints.

This long drawn out statement is to not be angry but to ask for help. You all have very different visions of my characters And your input Is important to me Especially Gringat Who's opinion I greatly value. I really need help.

After I finish Telossen (I'm already halfway there. He just needs arms) I'll be able to work on my own Hynak design (althoguh I need to make a contest-winning Nitronian in the next couple of weeks too). If I come up with anything, I'll tell you. THe only suggestion I can come up with for now is to look at other builders (like Mike Neives. His Elite Head design might be useful) and steal/adapt their techniques. That's what I do often. You'd be surprised how unoriginal some of my stuff is.

Another idea is to use minifig/droid/toa playset/system peices. They let you build smaller.

Well... Mike Neives maybe... and I saw The Lowlander make a wolf-MOC before. There's also SpinaxFan4ever on YouTube. Other than those, I don't know. Just search on the 'pages for "wolf mocs"

There's also the Fenris Wolf set from the Lego Vikings line. The head from that would be good if you can get it. The set's really good for hydraxon hand peices too... I wish I have it...

Just a note to everyone:

Please, feel free to make "Red-Shirt" characters. If the plot requires or would benefit from them for the sake of pointless drama, an unknown character can be placed into the story with a deliberately short lifespan - to get killed pretty dramatically, or disappear, or otherwise end up dying of something the heroes did not expect to see coming. The Red-Shirt doesn't have to die. They could just be a minor character who has no further interaction with the characters after their little bit of the plot ends - such as the Skrall Scribe. He is not even named.

I've just noticed that I am the only one in BRC who seems to ever use this trick. Sure, the -hero- can be killing a random lesser enemy, but a non-hostile taking on a red-shirt role? Nope. It's a common technique used in most books and movies.

Hey, if Rames is with the Nomads now, I have two questions:
