Is is just me, or is many things that us MOCers create seem to be more structuraly sound that what the Lego company comes up with? Honestly the Eiffel Tower fell apart after about a month, and the UCS ISDis slowly falling apart, I mean is a engineers nightmare, no wonder the empire lost! Where I biult a nuclear sub out of a UCS Y-wing engine after that fell apart and I threw it hard into my Lego bin and it came out ,when I cooled down, 90% intact! Does any one else agree with me?!?!

You see, it's all about the simplicity. LEGO wants to make something that is easy for kids to build, without using a large amount of pieces. If they do use too many pieces, then it's too expensive and they won't sell the item well. So that leads to cheap and unstable sets. It's sad, but that's how the marketing industry works...
