THANKS!

Stolen. I would provide a link to the original one, but if you look at the last topic on stolen MOCs, you would see that in Minifig Maniacs comment, he also reported one. But... the original one was deleted. So....

But I know it was stolen. That is not the original one. I have seent the original one.

Someone swiped Firas Abu Jaber's Ford GT. This is a pretty complicated swipe. This guy actually bought this thing off the internet and claimed is as his own. I discovered this after reading some posts on Flickr.

Wow, now that'a new one. I'll contact Firas and see if it's his. If he can confirm it's his, I'll delete the post ASAP. Thanks!

The car remains the same however, the color of the car has been changed from a red and white color combination to a yellow and black color combination. Firas Abu Jaber made the original which was copied by Patrick L. Patrick L. gave credit to Firas, but this guy did not. The person who copied Firas's Ford Gt said that he gave credit and deleted a comment that told him to give credit to the original owner. I suspect based on his building skills that he purchased the model, instead of copying it brick by brick. All this information has been provided by some of my good friends at Flickr (including Firas himself). Here are some useful links:

Here's the discussion column in which I got most of the imformation. It includes posts from Firas himself.

I hope I can help with this issue. I'm sure Firas would appreciate it along with many other builders. Feel free to ask me for clarification on certain things. I might not be all that clear with certain things. Happy New Year!

Thanks for following up, Jason. I should hear back from Firas soon. I don't have much doubt that it's a swiped design, but as soon as he confirms it, that page is gone. Much appreciated!
