Maybe some of you have seen Transformers: Beast Wars. I can't say I particularly like the series, but it presents a nice idea for a contest. Also thans to Baron Von Ben and Skorp TS for the idea. But anyway...for this contest you must build a bionicle that can change from a Bipedal Humanoid to a Quadrapedal Beasty!
Rules:
1. Must be a new MOC (Not posted before today, 6/4/10)
2. Must be able to change from a Humanoid Biped to a Beastial Quadraped.
3. Must be under 15".
4. Must be over 3" in humanoid mode.
5. MustInclude the words "My Entry for the Makuta's Sons 'The Beast Within' Contest," in the description.
The Rules are pretty lax, so I think everyone should be able to enter.
Ben and I will be judging the entries, on the following rubric:
Between 0 and 3 points for Build
Between 0 and 3 points for Creativity
Between 0 and 3 points for Originality
Between 0 and 1 point(s) for "Transformation"
Prize: If there are 7+ entries I will award actually prizes. If not, then the winner will get a promotion.

Nice, i look forward to these Beasts within! I'm guessing that me being a judge makes it so I can't enter, huh? Thats okay, I'm already too busy XD!
P.S. Is there a due date, or will it depend on participation?

When you say humanoid, does that mean the beast parts can't be showing or the humanoid doesn't look beasty?

No, they can show, just think about Transformers, if you can ;), I just meant it shouldn't look beasty, as you said...Here, I'll give you an example...okay, yeah, the example is a transformers picture, but thankfully I can say I only watch the '86 transfomers, cuz ya just can't beat the '80s...but anyway, here's sorta what you might wanna go for: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/transformers/images/d/d3/BeastWars_Cheetor_Original.jpg

Yeah, sure, as long as Humanoid is Bipedal, and Beastial is Quadrapedal, and the tail doesn't drastically interfere with the overall humanoid apperance. But Frankly, this is lax, you interpret the rules, and just ask if you're unsure!

It's started when the rules were posted, but right now I have VERY little access to computers, so I haven't put up an entry thread, I'll do that now!

Don't worry, I haven't been on lately as well. I have been trying desperately to finish building at least one moc to put up on the pages, but there always seems to be something else that needs doing :(
