Is there a place for dryads in Legonia? I have an abundance of the toy story army man heads and could use them for a green race, presumably dryads. is that okay?

Yes, dryads are tree nymphs and nereids are water nymphs. i wanted to know if Christian was okay with a new race before I asked where they would be located.

Ther're no nymphs in legonian mythology so dryads would have an own new interpretion. A race of forest guardian would live in the elven forest but on other side we have centaurs already, dryads are just a female version of that. Basicly i'm ok with new races but i'm using the green heads myself in my actual Legonia project.

you do know the nymps can look anyway you want? as long as they dont go far form their life source like for a dryad it would be their tree and for the nerieds it would eb their river.so nymphs have their own magic

tyler i really dont think im going to be able to do this goru. With only a side picture to work from is difficult enough but now i need to re-design the head.i might as well scrap the project and delete the moc as it is at the moment.

If you are thinking about the Elven Forests you should know this;
The Centaurs consider themselves to be the guardians of the forests,
they don't like humans nor any race that has contact with humans,
I've written a piece of what Centaurs in Legonia are like

http://christians-welt.bplaced.net/wikiLegonia/index.php/Centaurs

they won't easely approve another race to live in "their" forest, except for the Elves (which they consider to be their equals) and animals,
races that might be accepted in their territory would be Nature-loving calm beings (though Centaurs can be very wild themselves) that don't have contact with humans.

Dryads are peaceful tree-spirits, so I think they are nature loving enough. On a different note, how are the centaurs built?

you can see on the wiki page
http://christians-welt.bplaced.net/wikiLegonia/index.php/Centaurs

those on the top picture are built by Christian,
those with tree's on the background are mine,
and if you want you can come up with another design as well,

important is that they have flesh colored faces and have long hair, they are usually armed with spear or bow and arrow.
armor is actually very unusual as they aren't really threatened by an enemy and have never fought a war, they keep a neutral position as far as they are left in peace.
nevertheless they are great warriors

I recently made a centaur by modifying a lego horse body. It looks really cool and I may ask Christian if it is usable.

modifying a lego horse body ? I'm a purist so I wouldn't do that but I can imagine the result can be very good, after all a centaur is a horse-man, I'm curious to see it

By centaurs i meant their culture and use. The centaurs are guarding the forests and nature. Ther're no nymphs because no god needed to make them, the living races were made to live free in Legonias nature so nothing to protect. Magical trees and places would be ruled by elemental ghosts so these are the most similiar to dryad myth. In conclusion, elemental ghosts are formless beings bound to nature things. Sometimes they appear in humanoid form, your dryad version could be such thing.
Maybe we just skip that. For the hain of druids i use the green heads as living plant-parts. Maybe we just name the flower after dryads and the dryads as race is a misunderstanding of interpretation based on these.

I'll introduce a plant called "Curcurbit dryadis" which is a living plant of some kind. People may say, that dryads are living in these and other flora. They're created by elementals (see wiki:elemental), so these can be the dryads.
