The Mocha Peoples

The Mocha are a culture based on the natives of the Northern Jungles of the Ark'tohalan Empre who fled to the island of Mojache due to slavery and bloodshed. The island itself is south of Kaliphate, and is littered with jungles and vegetation. Only the giant Valcano, Mount Tahlon, is in the very centre. This valcano creates black rock whem the lava is hardend, and is used to create buildings as well as weapons and armor. The main colours of these people are black, green and blue, adopted from there former Skorpion rulers. many jungle animals live here, like giant spiders and some dinosaurs which have been used for war machines. The ruler of this nation is Prophet Sal'nah, who resides in the capital, Tenosha. Much of the population are warriors, hunters, miners, and craftsmen of all sorts. Fishing is also popular. MOC will be up soon.

How do you make armor out of volcanic rock? I can see obsidian or something being used for weapons, but you might need to explain to me how armor is made.

You mean obsidian, i think. That's colded lava shaped into knives, swords etc. But no metal so bad for crafting amors.

I like the Ark'tohlian origin, so they came later to the continent.

Well, there's one good thing about volcanoes: Ash is very good for farming. Though you don't see it, the southern parts of Mordor in Lord of the Rings was full of farms.

Perhaps. but most of the tribesman avoid the valcano because of many fire elementals residing there, so its a dangerous job mining in the first place.

I'm sorry, but mocha makes me think of coffee and chocolate, not a cool race in legonia.

I hate to say it but thats what i was thinking as well.I like the idea of a native population but i would say the name needs to be worked on.

Ok. Let's start a survey for names. Our basement should be a relation to Maya, inca or Atztecs and the island they're living on: Mojache.
So, maybe: Just Moja, Mojha, Mohja, Mocha, Mojacaan...whatever?

Good idea. Their travel and history is connected with the ocean and they're on an island. Other opinions?
