Skorpion Emrates. Scorpion riders?

i just went to see the movie called Clash of the Titans. and in that movie there are huge scorpions that come out of the desert sands and these other desert dwellers ride them with just a tent like thing on their backs. and i was wondering if the emrates could have dinosaurs could i make a huge scorpion they could ride?
