Idk, I like Legonia as Is. The whole medieval fantasy theme is pretty cool. What do you need modern Legonia for?

I think it would be interesting modern day. It would be nice to try something with it.

I agree. Only I could see 1 or 2 more technologically advanced races dominating, and magic dependent races failing. Some would probably even go extinct.

There already has been spoken about modern Legonia, you can find it on the chronology on Wiki Legonia,
I'm not planning to make any mocs about modern Legonia though, I stick to the medieval fantasy theme which I find the most fun.

You should ask Christian if you want to make mocs concerning moder Legonia,
I think he keeps that theme for later

Sebeus is right. I may have some basic ideas of orcs in bikes or mages in secret agencies but that's just dreaming.
We have to fix:
Modern Legonia only exists in prophecy now (see wiki) so that's 3000 years in the future. The northern states are the more richer ones with similiar technology and metropolic towns as today, many races live side by side like in the Harry Potter world, elves became a subculture often discriminated, orcs live in reservates or acting as terrorists. Magic is secret, people just believe in science.
The southern world stands for the less democratic intolerant states of today like Iran or North-Korea.
Can't speak for the east because we're just exploring it. Making details would be hard because the time between will have many effects and should be open to develop.
Actual date: The year 0 n.C.
Last event: "A New Age" (see my profile)

steampunk has a great infuence,
imagine one tribe starting to make steam powered vehicles,
that tribe would start using them as war machines,
Steampunk would be like the start of a technologic revolution.

I think you can add a little bit to the medieval Legonia though,
but it should not be combat-based,
For example, I'm considering to add a hot air baloon to my series (for the Fire elves btw) but the baloon won't have weapon systems or such,
in fact it will be a very vunurable vehicle, there are a lot of ways to pop a baloon eventually,
this baloon will function as a transport, nothing more.
