Quoting David Collins
Hey all! This is Alex M. AKA David Collins, admin of this newly-minted group. You may also know me as Reever, Mathieu, Manthies Lekolo, etc. etc. and etc. depending. This is just a message hoping that you all make yourselves comfortable here and post up your LEGO comics. If you know of any good comic builders and friends availible on MOCpages, please tell me so that I can invite them. And if you can prove yourselves worthy (or just bribe me), I'll make you a moderator or something so you can help run the group and make contests and all that fun stuff. That's all I have to say for now, so go out there and do whatever you folks do best. :)

Cool! Thanks for inviting me!!!! My stuff isn't really a comic as much of a Moc made into a freeze-frame from a story! Is that ok?

Once again, thanks to all of you who have joined or have suggested members so far. This group is a public group open to all, invite or no, so please, encourage (AKA: advertise) other comic-makers and readers alike to join. Please continue to post your comics and all that other good stuff as well. I will continue to monitor this group in the meantime. Once again, thank you.

MOCtag and Trolltag count, as long as you aren't just taking multiple pictures of a MOC like a ship with no interactions whatsoever and just slotting in mom jokes and other creative captions.

The next contest theme in group It's Not Just a Hobby, It's an Obsession - Lego is Best Story.

I thought this group would be interested in this contest. There are some pretty good story tellers.

Rules:
1. Nothing Rude or offensive.
2. There needs to be at least 4 pictures telling the story.
3. Obviously add text arround your pictures telling the story.
4. It can be any lego theme.
5. Have fun!

Contest Starts: January 15th 2009
Ends: Febuary 15th 2009

Thanks! I idolize your comic. Unfortunately I don't have PhotoDraw, and so I had to do it on Photoshop. It's more of a Daniel Jassim-ish comic than a SYWBAA type comic. Oh well, its the best I could do, what with my present resources...

Thanks. I am planning on posting the next comic sometime around Saturday each week, so people know when they can read the next issue. I'm going to make them into 'parts', each part with ten chapters. There are probably going to be 3-4 parts, but i'm not sure. Please post hero's Peril 7 as soon as possible!! I cannot live without my weekly HP (Lol! Hero's Peril, HP!!)

Just use MSpaint! It is on nearly all computers. All you need to do is open your picture, add a circle for the balloon and then add the pointy bit to the balloon. Then you click on the text icon and add writing.

Well, I meant if there was anything better than that. Besides, the pointy part of the balloon comes out cra ppy...

Try Picnik. Also, ComicLife has a free trial version (you can buy the program for about 25 bucks) -- that's what I use for Glomshire Knights.

I think this group would work better if there was a 1 per day adding limit. As it is now, it's like all isuues of a comic came out on the same day!

Hi! Yuri said, i should join. In fact, i love writing every kind of stuff (also made one 200paged novel :) ). Most of my Lego Creations aren't comics, but i start a photo story for the Mysterion theme created by Shannon Ocean. A look at my other themes could be good, too because mostly i make background stories and texts for my creations. But i just add the real comics and their prologues. For the beginning, it's the introduction of my coming U.M.R.C. project.
