Round one is over!
 Group admin
Round one is officially in the can! Those of you that played (win or lose) thank you so much for making this such a success!

The judges will continue judging over the next couple of days and I should have the round two match ups posted by Thursday.

Here's a list of the people that missed the deadline for posting and are OUT of the competition (If one of these people is your opponent, welcome to round 2!):

Brady G
Jacob Clements
Christian Collins
Will G.
Purple Pie
Gulliem Sanchez
Darth Sidious
Thomas N.
Moses Mohsen
Dark Lord
Michael Sloper
Senior Commander Vega
Dali Zheng
Swordfish
Brandon Buckingham
Vasiles Nikolav
Captain Lawrence
Comic kid
Nate Blizz
Legofanatic18dude
Elite commander striker

I know that this is going to mess up some brackets, I'll be talking to the judges over the next couple of days to figure out exactly what to do and I'll let you guys know as soon as I do.

Thanks again to everyone!

I could think of a few naughty words and comments to make about those that didn't bother to post (please don't bother to post excuses to defend yourself - they won't work).

I would like to send out a huge boo-ya to those that did (win or lose). Great job you guys and gals, some seriously brilliant building.

Round Two - here we cum.

Chris, can you add a column for all those that passed so every one can see who verses who in round 2? I also have no hard feelings about loosing, there's always next year! It will be fun to see who wins!

I've updated the Visual brackets. Group 1 is basically set, however the judges from Group 2 are asleep.

Dear Chris, plese do not choke me to death, (how many times do I have to post this)...
I tried to make a landscape at the last second, and posted it a tad late, Its pretty crap, I was confused as to what the limits of landscapes could be, after looking at Commander Jett's moc just then, I realise I can put figures and buildings in the landscape, If I knew that.... I would have made a village, cause I had this idea... oh well,
sorry

Eggy has taken the time to post a "brackets" page (THANK YOU EGGY) so most of the matchups for round two (without the categories) can be seen there. I'll be posting the matchups with categories later this week (hoping for Thursday). There's a few "issues" that need to be worked out between myself and the judges so we'll get those worked out over the next couple of days.

Again, win or lose, THANK YOU ALL that posted for playing! We couldn't do this without you! You guys ALL rock!

A quick word of congrats to all of those who got their work in on time, AND managed to follow the rules!

We had several that failed to post links to their respective competition...a shame really. You guys had some great stuff, but instead I had to borrow Shannon Young's Skunk Eye and give you the wagging finger of doom.

But hey, I'm not here to lecture (especially since I've been know to stretch a rule or two myself)! So let's focus on the work...Great job by all in that department, and congrats to the round one winners. See ya once again on the battlefield!

If I am surfing and see your incomplete entry before your opponent has posted and I am not ready to judge yet, I may thoughtfully remind you to fix it. I am not saying I will, or that I am in any way obligated to help you follow instructions. I am just saying, if I see it and the circumstances fit, I'll be cool about it. BUT DON'T COUNT ON A JUDGE TO REMIND YOU. READ THE RULES, FOLLOW THE RULES, AND LET YOUR BUILDS STAND ON THERE OWN.

Well thought and well said. I think this should settle the matter...

I'm going to hope you don't know how to spell.

I heard this great joke, although it's too rude for most people. Okay, I'll tell you.
My mum and dad chose their bed by doing in the store.
"Yeah, this one'll do. It's got a nice spring to it." My dad would say.
"Ooh, lets try this one." My mum would say, and my dad would say:
"Oh god... Lets just get the 5th one... please, for the love of god!"
And as they did it, the manager would... uh... do adult things.
"Would you like the deposit?" He would say. If you've seen Lee Evans, you'll know what I'll be on about. Heh heh heh...

And me. and I really go with Shaddix here; post your entry in a COMPLETE and RESPECTFULL manner and judgement (good or bad) will follow. thanks for those who did, and some very awesome entries in both groups (you know who you are)! I can't wait to see what the bye's will come up with in round two; the real elimination round!

A word of congrats to those who managed to squeeze into round 2. Great work guys! I'm very disappointed in those who didn't post, it is a huge shame. BUT with the competition being cut into half we probably won't be seeing nearly as much as that since most of the people in R2 are respected and responsible builders! Those who made it into the second round, gear up and get ready to get thrown back into the pit. Good Luck! -Dylan
