I'm having a hard time figuring this out: I want to make a good, clean white background (Kevin's),http://mocpages.com/moc.php/87620, but I don't know how. Can anybody help me with this?

There are several ways to clean it up. Do you happen to have photoshop? If so, drop me an email, and I'll give you a step by step. It's pretty easy.

There goes Mark, rubbing his Photoshop skills in everyone's face... hahaha. Or you could go low tech, head over to Walgreens and pick up two pieces of .99 cent poster board. Simple, cheap and effective. Or you could go with the photoshop idea (it is better in the long run. Just wanted to give ya the poor man's option).

Thank you everybody for the great advice! I have another question though: Is it possible to get good reults with Paint.NET?

Try using GIMP. There is a setting in there that can be used to edit contrast and brightness. Can't remember what it's called, though.

I used paint to edit the backgrouds of some of my mocs, but i wouldn't recomend it if you're going for white. Chris' posterboard idea is good, all I use a cleared out shelf in my room...

I use a piece of black poster board, and GIMP. But since I'm a cheepo, I just curve it against the wall.
