Interesting question. I'm not totally sold yet on any of them. The Propeller Adventures set seems to be decent. 6912 and 6913 also look pretty ok. I don't know, they just do not seem on par with 5867...

I don't know, they just do not seem on par with 5867... I agree, none of them jump out and say buy me. I kind of like that orange bike, but that's just for the wheels and the orange pieces. We need you to work for Lego, you'd create something worth buying ;-)

Not that set 5867 stood out to me. I just started to appreciate the inventory very much experiencing all the possibilities.
Well, I've tried to get back, but LEGO seems to disagree with you; I've received rejections on several vacant positions, including Creator. I'd say it's their loss...

Monty Python could have made a great scene about a job interview at Lego: some 3-12 year old kids sit behind a table with long faces and Cleese tries to build a Creator alternative for them...

I like the look of the bike, the old fashioned blue car and the plane set. Oh no it's going to be another expensive trip to the toy shop. I better start buttering up the wife ;). I hope that does not get moderated ;)

Hello everyone! I think I will buy first the 6911 Mini Fire Truck, second the 6910 Mini Sports Car. These are sure. There's a dilemma, because i want some Technic and City sets, too, but I haven't got enough money to buy all. I will decide it later. Happy Building!

I want the mini fire truck as well. Problem is, there are a few technic sets I want as well (9390 and 8070, as well as perhaps 9395 and 9393). 6910 is a great set, and I'd recommend it. Haven't seen many other alts built from it though.
