I dont like to read the bible because I dont like to remind myself that my Grandpa baptised me, and that I had to proded along to be Christianized, and how Grandpa still doesnt know that I lost my faith. And I REALLY dont like to think about the fact that God might actually be real and that I might go to H3_!!. =P Or be subject to no longer excisting. XP

that's actually a very common stand you have there, Luc, or whatever the heck you wanna be called. the strongest athiests have all have a bad experience or misunderstanding with religion. and I'm curious, why don't you like believing there is a God? if there isn't a God, there is no meaning to life, we are all just pointless accidents that just suddenly stop existing and disolve. I don't see how that's preferable in any way.

Yes, but very few people choose to take that choice. The only reason I was Christian was because my parents were. They still are.

not true. my dad became a christian while his parents still weren't, they have become christians since then tho

yeah, luc, but not everybody is you. I mean, if faith can be lost in hard time, was it ever faith to begin with?

You think I enjoyed losing my Faith? I spent that whole year moving away from freinds I knew for 13 years of my life on my own birthday, my Dad moving out for about 3 months, my great-grandma dying, and atop all that I had to worry about rotting in H***... That was the single worst year of my life. I prayed, Josh. That whole year I prayed. Nobody ever answered those prayers.

If you don't believe then why not take a chance. There are no consequences. You putting 1 on yourself, because you will rot in H*** if you don't believe. So if you don't believe, take a chance arch-freind.

And actually, when God made each and every one of us, he decided how we were going to be born, how our life would turn out to be, and how we would die. Each physical and mental trait that each human has was created by God.And no two people are alike in any way.Sure, they have the same hair color, same height, or same hobbies, but no one is a clone of another person. Our own fate is decided upon his own choice at our birth. So no, our fate isn't decided on our own actions, our actions are chosen from God to lead us to our chosen fate.

ah, yes, the most confusing concept of all: how can we have free will and God still have any power? God knows what will happen, and knows how it fits his plan, but we make the decisions along the way.

Ever heard of the Pyramid theory? Its not because people tell other people about their religion; it's because parents tell their kids about Christianity.

I know quite a few strong Christian adults who grew up as druggies, don't judge when you dont know what you're talking about. and the twinky thing, they inject it, genius. ;)

Yeah. Two weeks ago I started going to a new church (because the church we had been going to is like two cities away and we don't really know anybody there), and since it's over in a dangerous era (North Hollywood, one of the dirtiest places in LA county) I guess it attracts newer Christians in that area. I met this one couple who had been into drugs for years and now their married and have two kids, one on the way. Btw, my dad use to be a guy with hair below his shoulders and Metallica CDs on his shelves, and when he was invited to some Christian concert at Six Flags (a band called Stryper, search it on Google if you want) and they threw out Bibles from the stage, he caught one and he says that he felt different from that moment on.

yeah, my dad went to a Halloween party at a church when he was like, 12, and became a Christian there. my ancestors were all very strong Christians but it had sorta fallen out of the family at some point. oh yeah, one of my ancestors (the one who was given the name LaFollette in the first place) was a pretty cool guy. how many guys can say he broke his girlfriend outta some monatery thing so she wouldn't have to become a nun? =D

I happen to have completed the Iron Man 3 times... while walking on my tippy toes...

He also did it without wiping his constantly running nose, or bothering to throw things back at the race officials who had been searching for stragglers for 3 days... Guess they never thought to check at the beginning. =p

Hey man I'm not going to tell you what to believe I just want to say that I love my God and whether or not your a Christian God still loves you no matter what, but what you choose to believe is up to you not me not anyone else, and by the way I think it's comforting to have a God who can do anything, but lets you have a free will and choose for your self I would call that unconditional love.

have you taken into consideration what
god may be doing. in bible class we just learn that when you encounter trials to turn to
God and trust him to provide for you. maybe all this has happend because he wants you to trust him more luc. God really does love you i mean come on he gave his son up for you and me doesn't that mean something. and for all you who have said that we can belive what we want and that religion is just superstition, that is all a lie. i do not care if i offend anyone right ow so i will say it, luc if you keep up this belife system you have going, yeah you will rott in h311. but you don't have to, it can all change with one speacial simple prayer.

I agree with Tom R. and Jesse O... and Josh L. Here's what I have to say:

I said this to another guy going through a similar problem... and here it goes. NOTE: This sort of happened to me... Look. I was saved just like 1 1/2 years ago... even though I was raised in a christian family. I began to have doubts and challenged Christianity in my heart which in the end brought me closer to him... because I realized it was the truth... READ THIS CONVERSATION YOU CAN RELATE TO IT:

ya the poem did really speak to me.and as far as god goes i honestly think that he has abandoned me and i don't know how to feel about that,i don't even talk to him anymore.i just wish he would make my life alot better again.and since you seem to be tight with him( for now at least)i was just wondering if you had any advise for me.but i as far as your mech goes and the goal that you have set for yourself,i'll give you my score of 10/10-good job.also i tryed my hardest to de how many points you had already but all that i could see was, your 5/5 score givin to you earler,so i guess that this would make you have a womping total of 15 pionts huh?!good job man and i'll even raise the my scale for you so that you have 50,nut your a really modest guy and i just supposse that you'll want me to leave things be right?well o.k.,then,well see ya and let me know when your on that roblox thing o.k.,so we can do some awesome things with lego.

just ask God to transform your life... say " im ready, take this heart of stone, and soften it!" give him your life cuz he gave his to you... and read your bible... and what i do to keep things going is i write down my favorite verses.. and read them every morning along with my bible reading!
MY REPLY:

" =Thirst=

For my friend Josh (King of Knitemares) for encouragement.

=-Part 1-=

I look into the shattered looking glass. There is nothing I can see

I am losing the battle. It's as simple as could be.

I thirst for you. I just wanna be free.

I keep waiting, your not here.

I am feeling empty. I have a reason for fear.

I see ghosts walking around. I can feel that the end is near.

I have become a monster, I realize every time I look into the mirror.

You have betrayed me.

How could it be?

The reason, I can't see.

Take away these chains, MAKE ME FREE!

=-Part 2-=

He took me in, so the lights are no longer dim. Now the only one I need is Him.

I had the chance all along. No reason to wait so long.

Take me, brake me, shake me, make me... MAKE ME NEW!"

Its Faith in lack of Faith. Me and Nick have Faith that Gods dont exsist and when we die we will be subject to an endless abyss.
oh yead it takes a lot of faith to believe that you were created by accident!! your a LAB ERROR!!! omg! You see... The way atoms and molecules work.. its very precice and delacate. If there is one thing off in the millions of properties of us... we will spontanius cumbust! Tell me.. what are the chances such a complex organism was created so perfectly ACCIDENTALLY! I want a good comeback for this... not "your mom" wow!
and read my previous long comment. It shows a guy coming back to God. it's a trues story... it happned reason and I was the one to explain things to him.

heres my comeback for that!

How much macro evolution have you seen in the last 100 years according to studies???

Well... none!

All I have seen is micro evolution.

You see... Macro evolution is when an organism evolves into a totaly different organism. Micro evolution is when it just shows slight changes... hair color... slight bone structure differences... but for a reptile to become mamal or something else?? it has not happened in the last 100 years for sure!

Heres some more for you to chew on. Look at humans 100 years ago... no difference... and you say the world is 100,000,000,000 years old? 100,000,000, times 100 times zero = ZERO!!! No differences any time recent = no difference ever! do the math... study... then start talking! thank you!
