On Manaan in KOTOR 1, at the end when you have to choose whether to poison the giant shark or destroy the generator; it is best to destroy the generator otherwise you kill all the sea life and the kolto and get banned from that planet.

When fighting Dark Jedi you should use your hard-hitting force powers coz they use theirs.

On Korriban you HAVE to pledge yourself to the Sith which is hard for a light side player.

When fighting an enemy with an energy shield on do not use lightsabers or blasters, instead use vibroblades.I did for Calo Nord and Saul Karath.

When on Manaan at the end when you have to choose whether to blow up the generator or use the poison, the generator is best. But it dosent matter which one you do. You get banned from the planet whatever you do.

If you're playing as completely lightdided hero you can redeem some persons- if you didn't know- You can save Juhani (That everyone already knew i suppose...), and Bastila of course at the end- but does anyone here know that you can redeem Yuthura Ban also- she's hard one because she is sithpupil but if you ask enough of her and learn of her past you can spare her life later after killing her master and she'll turn back to the light side...

when fighting calo nord, set mines at the front of the cave and try to lead him/his party there and...(BOOM!). most of his party will get wiped out if they arent shooting at you but calo will still be alive because of his darn shield
and to take out a strong shield, use a vibroblade

I have a great one for the Manaan sith lord. If you don't have the power to beat him, you can put a whole bunch of mines at the enterance before you open the door. Then you fight him and his two Selkath. When I did it I lost both of my party members and was really low on heath, and ran away with my main character who servived. Both of the Selkath were dead and the sith had a good chunck of health out of him. Lure him over the mines and BOOM!. BTW, all of these tips with mines has a tip of it's own. Any type of mine will work, but it helps to have the hard hitting plasma mines. And be sure to hide some flash mines in there to. Because if your low on health and your enemy survives the blast, at least they would be stunned so you could finnish them off.(Note:It should be noted that some enemies can resist flash mines.)

Warnings for glitches: i have had many funny bugs and glitches in my Kotor game (first one) Well it is not bad glitch when legs of some character don't move- they are actually faster when they are floating in the air but it looks funny-(LOL) Thne Mission's brother bug i mentioned before- if you want to comlete the task you MUST NOT open the door in tuskencamp opposite to the captured jawas- mission's brother should be there- but if you open it before you have info that he is there and Tuskens give permission to release him- there are nothing- door won't close ever again and He doesn't appear there- you can continue the tasks still tuskens give permission- but he is nowhere to be found- so it becomes impossible... Third glitch i had is not very bad but it makes game pretty irritating- it is in Manaan Sithbase- where are those flooddoors whatever- if you close the door and use controls to fill other side wih water when some of your group are still on the other side- they got separated- strange enough no one has animated water and i got confused where my characters are when game claims that other side is filled with water- so wait that all guys are on the same side of the flooddoor before closing it or transferring that strange invisible water....

If you don't want to be banned from the planet of Manaan BEFORE you go to the Hrakert Rift complete both of these quests: Republic Hiring Mercenaries AND Missing Selkath. You can give them a Sith Datapad you find in the Missing Selkath Quest which is about taking over Manaan and they wont kill you. And tell them why the republic is hiring Mercenaries. Then when you blow up the Kolto Harvesting thing you will be arrested and you can say you know to much and if the ban you you'll tell everyone your secrets. If you can't understand me, don't worry about it it's nothing major.

Btw is it possible to ultimately reveal the truth in Sunry murder case- i got him released but after that it seems that he was quilty after all...
