The Black NXT is on sale at Amazon for $128. Should I wait for the 2.0 or get an extra NXT now? Tough Choice.

If I were you, I would get myself a second WHITE NXT because it could look a little nasty if you have too much black stuff in your creation. This eliminates the black NXT and now it's NXT vs NXT 2.0. I'd get myself an NXT 2.0 (unless there's a huge difference in price).

From what I have seen, the base NXT does not have any changes to it with the 2.0 release. Updated sensors are included along with new Lego pieces but this is just a minor update to the kit.

That robot in the picture has a weird Ultrasonic sensor. Seriously, it's a messed up robot...

There's a whole bunch of software improvements and I think you can use text-based NXT-(?) within the official 2.0 software.

Well, actually the sensor is the same, but the new kit has these wierd body kits for the arms and for the head.

I simply want to point out that the U.S. sensor in that picture is smaller than usual.

yes, the black brick may look good, but i'd wait for the (minor) software improvements and new peices of NXT 2.0.
