Hardsuit Legs

Does anyone else have a hard time making decent hardsuit legs?

Yours do tend to come out well. Of course, you usually only make hip joints and no knees or ankles, which I've always been too perfectionist to do.

It would help if I we knew what size it's supposed to be. Do you want to be able to fit a whole minifigure pilot, or to make a solid body and stick a head on it?

I still don't know how big it is, but I'd recommend using one or two of these:

Expand out from there. The hollow studs mean you can attach rods, clips, and T-pieces, among other useful elements. Hope this helps!
