Hardsuit check-Pass or Fail?
 Group admin
so I figured I'd get in on the game and check my work at the same time! so here it is, one of my favorite Heavy Infantry Support Units, or H.I.S.U.'s ---http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/64394---
Don't hold back guys, if I need a bashing, for goodness sakes give me a bashing.

In the future I'd try to use smaller more greebly pieces.

Seeing how old it is, I'll do it in :D. First of all, the limbs aren't armor, they're just extensions...and they're very bulky. Try looking at suits from Pete, the limbs are quite rad, and it makes you believe that lego arms are indeed inside.

thanks guys, I pretty much said all the same things when I made it, followed by, "ah, what the heck, I'll just post it and see what people say" and I have been trying to capture the look of the iconic Greygoose, that almost spindly look that looks like... nothing else out there... maybe may upcoming Hardsuit "Phoenix" will have some effectiveness in that regard...-M.K.

what does "greebly" mean?

"Greebles" are technilogical mis-mashes that can serve an obvious purpose, or just sit and look pretty [although how good they can sometimes look is a purpose in my opinion :D]. Click on the link for an example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/38509565@N00/2749399597/in/photostream/

yeah I personally love greebles, for example, my pride and joy http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/77684 my 5" by 5" borg cube... for a while now I've been thinking about making a talk show-ish Moc to explain all the MOCpages lingo, for example, "greebles", "S.N.O.T.", "sigfig"... ect. basically all the words that made me go "huh?" when i first joined MOCpages...-M.K.

^I wish your 'pride and joy' was fully [including top] greebled, as the parts that are complete are fantastic...here's mine: http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=76882&id=/user_images/10737/12240143312 The actual photograph doesn't give me any 'pride and joy' though. :D

My cube is actually one of the few creations that is still intact and is currently awaiting upgrades. But it's been "waiting" for months... maybe now I'll go back and greeble the top and bottom. And my borg cube pics are way worse than yours, another reason I need to pull a re-do on that one... lets try and make this the last post of this greeble thread on this topic, back to my could be hardsuit please. maybe we should make a topic about building...-M.K. (wish you could put tags on your messages like other boards, every third message is missing mine)

alright... it's been awhile since any one has said anything, even longer since we've actually talked about the H.I.S.U. ... anyway I'm gonna go ahead and close this up within a couple days. at that time I'll count 'em up and make a ruling on my own creation (*gulp*) so if anyone has anything to say... say it now.

double post I know, but it has been awhile.... anyway I think this one's a pass. just barely though.

it has some traits that would disqualify it, like being "held" rather than "worn"

anyway thanks for the interesting conversation.
