Speech I just made up: (Inspired by Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann)
You may ask me, "What is 'impossible'?" I'll tell you. "Impossible is nothing but a concept created to limit mankind's ability. It's nothing but an imaginary force that prevents us from reaching our full potential." And for the most part, people believe they should just let themselves be limited by Impossible. Quite frankly, I disagree. I say, "Cut through Impossible, and let loose your full potential! Impossible or not, carve your own path!! If Impossible is an obstacle in your way, Shatter it with full force! Burst right through it, and tear through the boundaries of reality!! Make the Impossible become possible! No matter how difficult, no matter how painful, rise up to the challenge, and throw Impossible aside! Let loose your Fighting Spirit, and there will be nothing you can't do!!" So go ahead and ask me, "What is 'impossible'?" My answer will always remain the same..."IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!!!"
So next time you're faced with the Impossible, stand tall, and challenge it head-on!!! For the only thing that's impossible...IS IMPOSSIBLE ITSELF!!! ~Phong Chang

That quote is from the anime TTGL. Even though you don't like anime, give this one a chance. It's nothing like the mainstream. This anime glows with EPICness. Anyway. Here's some advice: Before building a mech, make sure to get a nice stable frame going. Sometimes you can build the frame and mech along the way like I often do. I build the upper body frame first, then armor it, then I move to the lower body. Make sure your frame has lots of studs on all sides. This is best accomplished with 4 knobed 1x1 angular bricks. The 1x1 2 knob ones work too. Make sure to also use lots upright clips and T-bars for joints.

I'll change it. What did you mean my "armor the sides better." Are talking about the shoulders or the head? Or are you talking about what I put the head on? I was just testing something. See it here:

My advice for making tiny mecha heads is to keep experimenting. There's never a right way to make a head. Personally I like to start with a 1x1 brick with two studs on the sides.
