Woah!!!
Stop right there!
I'm starting it right now I just wanted to open a topic of discussion for the contest. For those who would like to help out or just contribute their ideas.
First thing I would like to specify right now for the next BBOA contest.
All round themes will not be Bionicle idea or specify a specific way to build.
I wish to try what the MocOlympics has done which is non specific ideas. These in my opinion let the builder have free range with their creativity while striving to have it make sense with the idea.
Example.
Say a Judge wants to do a Titan round. Instead of giving size specifications and such they can simply set the theme as, "A warrior of Titanic proportions."
Most people will think the intention is to build a Titan but heck, someone like me may make a scaled down version of the Titanic and strap to legs to it with guns.
Or even "Zoom Zoom" classic commercial slogan? Lazy Judge? Nope it's to see what interpretation and emodyment of speed people can come up with! Or a big camera with a nice zoom on it.
In the end I just wanna try this out. Slightly non-specific vague ideas or sayings that people have to make a creation to fit what is said (not exactly fit what was intended)
I beleive this would bring in people who wish to test the rounds themes and be wacky, all while still showing great skill.
Peoples thoughts please?
