Quoting Stephen .
I was rolling around the idea of building a female MOC in my head for a while, and I eventually got started making it. However, after repeated attempts and failures to make a decent torso, I've now come humbly to mocpages to ask if anybody has a how-to posted or something equally helpful.
Depends on whether you want proportional and generally realistic or overtly female with very obvious, ahem, breasts. There are many different ways to achieve either, some quite simplistic, some very complicated, but all that is part of the construction that is usually hidden anyway. Basically you should take any curved armor parts, position them in a way to your liking, then find ways to anchor them to the body skeleton. This is one of my earlier MOCs which used this similar technique of, essentially guesswork.

My smaller, more recent torso designs opt for the more.. perky appearance lol

Most MOCers generally use those armor pieces mentioned in the first one as they are usually the ones that work. Looking around on MOC Pages, you can usually find their usage almost stock standard, but don't be afraid to experiment.
