find an online translator and look up some words that mean ice or plasma, then combine a few or modify them. that's how I got names for my toa team.

What about Plasmaen? It's a fusion of the Danish words for plasma and ice; plasmaet and isen, respectively.

Neolite. I think Neolite has a nice ring to it and the reason I thought of it is because the two forms of plasma on earth are the plasma inside restaurant lights and then there's lightning. So I took "neon light" and modified it.Well I dunno..kinda of obvious but I like it.

What about Vakis for the turaga (because iruni's head looks like a vahki's head.)?

And then what about Perferdius for the Makuta, based of the German word for horse: das Pferd.

Well thank you, I'll be sure to use them;) Also Iruini's mask was based of Nidhiki, because the Iruini set was originally intended to be Nidhiki in toa form (Like Nohrik was meant to be Dume)

Yeah, sometimed I do this too, but with the maori dictionary(I search for it on google), so it sound more like bionicle, you know...

OBS: for thhose who don't know, the first bionicle names(including the Nuva names) came from the maori language...

For a lot of my names I either use names from a book I've read, or I go to an English-Greek dictionary online. If I'm making a Toa of...hmm Well...Ice, and I get "Pagonos" I might shorten that, I might modify it, or i might just leave it. You won't believe some of the really awesome names that are waiting you!

I looked up " plasma" but there were no matching words. So I tried lightning and it came up with "Astrapes", So you could do...Astrapa...or Astrapi, maybe Astrapolus...I dunno. But here's a link to a English to Greek dictionary:
