Any Questions
Forgive me, controllers of this group if you didn't want a new conversation, but I have a question and couldn't find a conversation to ask it in...so here goes: On the front page at the bottom it says only add one creation a day, but in the rules it says only one creation a week, so i don't know which to go by.

So i started a new conversation for anyone to ask any questions about the group, and Admins and Moderators out, notify me if you don't want me to start any conversations. Thanks!

It's OK.
Since this group was to be the "heir" of Bionicle Flagship Display and the original Bionicle group, I set the limit at 1 per week, to make sure that everyone would try to post only their best stuff.
I don't know if any of the others changed the rule.

hey so for the tribute contest are there going to be piece count categories like you had in the spinning top contest? that would help my entry out a lot, I have a great idea but it is kinda small.

Nope. We concorded the rules among Admins and we only decided about a size limit. 13 inches, so you won't compete against giants.
However, some of the builders already came out with nice small MOCs :)

It's getting harder and harder to help you, be more open to ideas. Anyways, here's my advice: ry large Lego plates fastened together with some kind of hinge. Plates with slants with work better because you can create curves better. If that doesn't work, your you don't have enough pieces, I dunno, I'm out of ideas.

I have several questions just about the history of BD...Just for curiosity I guess:
-How many contests have happened in BD
-When was this group started
-And...Agh...Dang I forgot...

Why was Bionicle Flagship Display closed? Did something go wrong?

Why was Bionicle Flagship Display closed? Did something go wrong?

When Sean Kenney asked Yuri to take over administrator role at Bionicle Display, Yuri transfered most members at his Bionicle Flagship to merge with Bionicle Display. All rules and activities were transfered as well. After the successful transfer and subsequent growth of Bionicle Display, Yuri and fellow admin of Bionicle Flagship Display decided to retire BFD.

You know how there are "Halo Kiddies" that are totally obsessed with "Mst3r Ch3i" and stuff? And "Clonetards" that are crazy about Star Wars? Well is there a word for people who are absolutely crazy about Bionicle? This is a totally idle question...It came to me while reading on of Phipson's MOCs..

Ok, so, this isn't directly attached to Bionicle, but this summer, I took care of my neighbors cats. I got paid, and I wanted to do something with the money. So instead of going out and buying a couple sets, I decided to try out Bricklink. I started looking through the minifig and Bionicle parts, and bookmarked those that I was going to buy. Today, I revisited the site to buy them, now listen, this was the first time I've ever been on Briclink and I have no idea HOW to buy things, I get as far as putting the item in my cart, but then when I move to the next tab of the item I wanted, the OTHER item doesn't show up in the cart. I just need some help on how to buy things on Bricklink, thanks!

Ah, a common problem. You see, all the items there are from different sellers, so you can't add random parts to your cart. It'll automatically overwrite, as you can't get combined shipping by buying from two different people. if you want to buy a bunch of pieces at once, you need to buy them all from the same store.

Thanks! I was pretty confused, so now that I have several items in DIFFERENT shopping carts, do I have to go back and check out with each of those carts or can I go to one page and check them all out at once, I'm almost afraid of the answer...

Well, I don't know if it saves the items in the shopping cart... but if it does, then you'll have to pay for them all separately, yeah.
