it has come to my attention that the MoCpages user in this group "Ethanjg" is only upgrading Lego bionicle sets, i don't recall ever letting someone that upgrades sets call them a MoC, he does have some MoCs that aren't upgraded sets though

I checked the page, but I could not confirm this...

if you look at his "Ultimate glatorian MoCs", they are basically Sets that are mixed pieces with other sets

Yeah. Many of the youngest start by "improving" on existing structures. He will soon get enough building experience to build his MOCs from scratch :)
