I can't add comments!

I just started a group and I got some messages. For some reason, I can't reply to those messages. Can anyone explain why, please?

It is most probably because you are a new member. All new members need ALL their comments and the first few mocs authorised before they become a full member. This is to stop spambots flooding the website with adverts.

Once one of the admins has reviewed the comments you should be ok.

Well, I am the admin of the group. Notice I said that I just started a group. The messages I try to send always show up as "questionable" comments. Yet all the other, non-admin members have their messages show up normally and don't end up with the "questionable" comments. Why?

Interestingly this comment went into moderation for this group. There are two possibilities that occur to me, but I'm not 100% sure:

1. you are still new enough here that every comment / moc is still going to moderation. Your account needs to be manually flagged by the admins to stop this perhaps that hasn't happened yet. It's your MOCpages account that is the issue here not your group status.

2. some member's comments get flagged because of their user name having a restricted word as part of it. I'm not sure that is the reason here, but it could be.

There might be another reason, perhaps one of the site admins might have more ideas.

Scratch that - you don't have any mocs therefore everything you comment goes automatically to moderation. Once you have uploaded something this will stop.

This is a security feature to stop people using MOCpages to spread advertising. Unless you have posted pictures of lego it has to be assumed you are not here legitimately.

That's a bit disconcerting... Thanks though.
